I was at my desk at 6:00am 100% battery. Now 1:00PM @ 66%. couple dozen phone calls, half a dozen text, 3 email accounts @15minutes, med screen brightness, live wall paper, blue tooth has been on since I got here. Weather updating hourly. Downloaded three programs that I missed yesterday. 4G

I can't complain about that. I would have been @50% on my TB with 3G. If I was on 4G I would have been down around 30%.

Still not great battery life but definitely an improvement.

If you are using the red live wall paper it will indeed consume more battery life.

I took my phone off the charger at about 8 am and had to put it on at 7pm. So not to bad. I was playing with it all day also.

Not sure what the heck is going on... I'm not even 6 hours off the charger and im already under 30%. Im not in a 4G area so its not that, screen is set to auto i only have gmail pushing. Two phone calls total talk time 27 mins, no surfing no games, a few text messages. Theres gotta be something going on here. What is everyone that can get 10-12 hours on it doing? I had the TBolt so i was use to poor battery life.

I was concerned about this battery life.
No wifi, no bluetooth, mainly 3G and no G(office very poor reception), 3 emails, and this stock thing that updates per hour, low screen brightness, no GPS, economy. 100% at 7:30am. 10% at 4:15pm. I charged via USB/PC for 20 minutes in between. 2 phone calls. download angry birds, several email checks. turned GPS/Maps on for 5 minutes. I think this is poor. Previous phone was HTC Touch. It would last 3 days with lots of talking, no data. I'm still adjusting.

Debating on getting extended battery. I need help here. Its a work phone so corporate mail has to be push. If I have my lock screen as weather does that drain more battery too rather than a still pic?? Help me android gurus

Yesterday and today I have had excellent battery life. 16 hours yesterday with moderate use, today 13 hours and at 50%. All I did was charge it, then turn it off and let it charge for an additional couple hours and every day it has been getting better and better.

I'm with you, bro. I flipped on the Network toggle switch, browsed online for 10 minutes, and my phone had dipped from 41% to 31%. The battery seems to drain pretty quick.
Even with network data completely off, I lost 5% playing with widgets for 4 or 5 minutes. It's literally draining at 1% per minute at this point. I don't get what the hell to do.

Got my Rezound the day after official release. Using the Battery Left widget to get estimates on battery life.

So my settings are:

Auto screen brightness
4G/LTE & 3G left on (when not on wifi)
Wifi left on and scanning regularly if not on wifi
GPS left on at all times
Bluetooth off
Power manager set to performance mode
Many many texts throughout the day, occasional youtube videos and full episodes of The Daily Show D)
One half hour to hour long phone call each night before charging again.
I listen to music on it all day long with the Beats "enhancement" on.
Weather on lock screen
Sync on, facebook and my gmail account are sync'd.

Battery Left estimates that on those settings I get 13 hours and 27 minutes on a full overnight charge. This seems accurate, as I usually disconnect from the charger at 9am and plug it back in around 11.

I've got to say, that's not bad for a phone which is technically 3 times as powerful as my DX. Stock for stock, they're about even taking into consideration the difference in power. Once I rooted & ROM'd my DX, and added a 3500mAh ebay battery that thing would last forever. 28 hours similar use (text, phone calls, wifi 3g gps all left on, youtube, apps, same accounts syncing, MIUI ROM, lowered processor voltages)

In all, I'm not disappointed with the battery life. I am disappointed with the charger port, as I can't use my Verizon DX car charger with the Rezound lol.

You should be able to use your DX charger, I've been using my Kindle charger to charge up my phone, works fine.

(could be due to beats by dre and my love for loud music) So I had skype running on wifi the entire time. 2 video calls. I did a lot of surfing black friday deals, reading about pepper sprayed shoppers and lots of Lets Golf 2 and X-Construction. Lots of emails, text messages and two short phone calls. 100% to 30% after 19 hours.

Is it known that the phone uses more battery power when in 1X vs 4G. That is what I'm seeing. I have the same settings except skype is on 1X at work and wifi is off. I barely used my phone today. 4 hours 50%.

It's searching for service, that's a huge drain if you're on 1x. Do you typically get that for service at work?

Has anybody with the Rezound currently, had a Bionic? I would like to hear the comparison between the Bionic and the Rezound in regards to battery life.

I have yet to change any of the default setting to save or try to make the battery work harder.

So on the default settings and having had the phone almost a week now, even today with using the phone for 4 hours; about 30 minutes in calls, 20 text messages, reading on my amazon kindle ap for 20 minutes, being in a 3g area, having 3 google accounts constantly searching for new messages...I have only used 15% of my battery. on my old Palm phone, by now I'd have used at least 30%, so I'm already very pleased.

I did buy the extended battery however because I do tend to need that on the weekends, but during the week, the standard battery is going to be more than enough.
