I snagged the 2750 mAh ext battery off the VZW site for $30 the other night. It does look huge, but that is a LOT of juice. I'm excited!

I also ordered this skin cover thing for the extended battery Rezound:

Looks pretty snazzy. Comes in red, black and purple. I bought the red to match the other red accents.

By the way, does anyone know if the extended batteries charge while they're IN the phone? Or do you have to remove them and charge them in a separate device?

They charge in The phone. It takes longer to charge of course since its bigger. But its totally worth it. I leave my brightness in full and browse constantly. Once this phone gets cm9 and is overclocked. Its gonna be perfect lol.

It's half price at the Verizon store right now. I just scooped one up today with my Living Social deal.

I don't see the ext. battery/door on the site at all, much less for 1/2 off. If they were sold out they would at least have it listed as out of stock. Am I looking in the wrong place? I've seen it there before. Can someone link up again?

I just purchased my Rezound on Thanksgiving eve and they said they're running a special on all LTE device EXTENDED batteries for 50% off. I got mine at purchase and it is great. Had my phone on 4G LTE mode all day yesterday and played with the phone alot... from 6:30 AM to 11:30 PM my extended batter was at 49%. Extended battery is the only way to go

That phone looks great. I'm really close to jumping off the Nexus bandwagon and getting this thing.

I would recommend the Rezound to anyone. This phone is exactly what I was looking for. I eventually hopped off the G'Nex bus after multiple flat tires left me stranded on the side of the smart phone highway.

My extended battery/cover came today. I'm currently charging the 2750 mah's of goodness.

I'm finally content (knock on wood!)

Apparently according to the Verizon rep I just talked to, they don't sell an extended battery for the rezound. It's not even in their stock system and it doesn't show up on their website at all.

Kinda pissed because the stock battery dies 4 hours after I unplug the phone.

I recieved mine today as well (i ordered on fri) too bad my rezounds not here yet lol. Im kinda waiting to open it since I did the rezound battery glitch and await them from vzw.......yea right. Id like to see a side profile as well. Whats everyones regular battery life? Also whats a good battery life app for free please? Im a new android user.

First time charging and using it. Just had about 6 hrs on mine. No web but did a lot of local calling, screen brightness adjustments, tweaks and messing around with GB and some photos. Impressive for just the standard battery. Your new Rez and the extended battery should be great for a full day + for sure.

It is considerably larger, I would say twice as wide.

Sorry, meant to add to the description: Extended cover does not have the beats logo, and also does not have all the traces internally. Doesn't feel as rubbery as the original either. I only intend to use it when I know I am going to be away from a power source for an extended amount of time, like camping for the weekend. Otherwise I will keep the original batt/door on.

I agree, this is a big . I'm trying to decide if the extra juice is worth the bulk. I'm going to give it a week and see how i feel.

Wow, this extended battery is a beast!

I took it off the charger at 8am. I've been using it for 12 hours on 3G and my battery has 8 out of 10 blocks left.

The extended battery definitely makes it bulkier, but I'll take a LONG lasting battery over a skinny, pretty phone.
