On my rezound, to the left of the 4g symbol, there is a symbol that looks like a rifle target. Its a circle with cross hairs, what is it for?

Thanks

It indicates location services on or off. If it is just the target without the two parentheses to the right, then that indicates that location services is off. If you see the two parentheses to the right, it indicates location services is on. Note that e911 is always on. But verizon, google, and gps can be shut off.

It's purpose is a bit boring. I like to think of it as the crosshairs other phones take aim but they just
can't seem to line up the shot.

That is the symbol given to heathens.
Quickly, lets burn the phone together and pray for forgiveness.
