rhino shield for pixel xl

CrashGuard is drop tested at 11'.
Lifeproof is drop tested at 6.6'.

CrashGuard works fine with dbrand skins. The skins can shift and move around. Particularly the edges have a tendency to move when I take the bumper off.

Right, but you said you dropped a 6x (?) from 5ft with damage or problems - guessing you meant without?

Good to know about that w/ the dbrand. Looks like that'll be what I run (black leather back, color logo, rhino bumper)

I dropped my 6P and 5X from about 5ft with CrashGuard on concrete without any problems.

I have the bumper case and the screen protector. Overall, I have mixed feelings. The bumper makes the phone feel wide but the protection the case and screen protector provide appear to be nothing short of amazing based in the YouTube reviews and tests.

FWIW, there is a very small gap all the way around between the screen protector and bumper.

Additional thoughts...

I discovered this morning that the cutout for the USB-C port isn't very generous at all in size, and while it fits the OEM charger fine, it will not fit the Belkin car charger's cable. I shot RhinoShield an email about it asking if this was something they might address, but I doubt they would be able to - with the amount the bumper stands out, there's not much room in thickness left to give up to accept a broader port. Unless they have some sort of solution, that issue, along with the buttons, will probably have me moving away from the bumper and going back to my Spigen (yes, I know I could order another cable from Google for $25, or try to find a spec-compliant cable that would fit elsewhere, but that's reaching a bit far).

My Monoprice cables don't quite fit the cut outs on my 6P/5X. I give it a good shove and it goes in. Not ideal but serviceable.

I was able to trim my Belkin car charger cable with a razor. I trimmed both sides so i=they where on a slight slant. It now goes in perfectly. I will get some pictures when I get home to show what I did.
