Just got the rhinoshield bumper crash guard case and for anyone thinking about getting it, I'd advise not too. Whilst the case is very minimalistic and it shows off the nice backing, the bumper feels very slippery and makes holding it very awkward. Because it adds more width to the phone, I feel like as I hold it to type or use the phone, it will easily be dropped.

This definitely is a case that you will need a pop socket or something similar in order to feel secured.

I'd highly not recommend it. Going back in the box and returning it.

Had the Rhinoshield bumper case on phones that don't have glass backs. I don't feel that it provides enough coverage for a phone that has both a glass back and front. Liking the Speck Presidio Grip, though. Haven't dropped my phone since I started using that case, so I'll see how it goes. I did like the Spigen Ultra Hybrid, but again, didn't feel that it was giving the S9 enough protection.

The concept is good but if you drop your phone at an angle you will crack your screen! I know I was using a Otterbox Symmetry case on my Note 8 and I dropped my phone from 3 feet down and I cracked my screen!

The case I use is by Speck, there cases feature a rubber prongs on the side, and on the reverse side That gives you a tight grip!...Excellent design and features assorted colors!...I highly recommend Speck cases!.

I'm using the rhinoshield and I think it does a good job of protecting the phone, but I agree, it is a little slippery.
