Trying to figure out how to get rid of the clockworkmod recovery. I attempted wiping the file from my SD Card, no luck. The reason I ask to do this is because it won't let me use any other rom or backups, so I am stuck with Ultimate Droid v 6.03, not the worse thing in the world to be stuck with, but if I wanted to be stuck with something, why root at all, help?

have you downloaded ROM manger from the market yet, should have the option to "flash alternate recovery" aka SPrecovery, not sure if that's in the free version though

No such luck, it isn't even letting me access the paid protion of the app, despite that I have paid for it...twice.

I'm thinking you could install an update, opt out of the google apps, uninstall rom manager and whatever apps, then manually install the google apps (download the file from cyanogen (Koush's post/thread)) and use the recovery to install the gapps. After that sign into your gmail and redownload everything and then try and see if premium is working again. And, if it is, you could flash sprecovery.

Thanks to everyone that tried to help, but in the end nothing fixed it, and eventually it had to become a brick....well thats what happened. So took the phone to my local vzw and got a new one for free with my insurance because if I don't use it, what is the point anyway. Good luck to all of you with your roots, I was clearly not cut out for it, lol.
