Re: Right way to upgrade to the Nexus without losing unlimited da
In theory it should, however when I had my Storm I only had the standard data plan, I didn't have the Corp which is $15 more a month. Although when I upgraded to the Thunderbolt, unlimited was still in place, I was just worried about losing my promo (I only pay $9.99 a month for data) because I would be going from a BlackBerry data plan to a regular smartphone data plan. When I called and asked before upgrading, they said that they had a major issue with people losing their promo when upgrading to the iPhone, so they had a fix for the same situation after that fiasco.
Grandfathering also works if moving from a Blackberry device? I just reviewed my bill online and it says "CORP Email & Data Unlim". I only worry because I recall seeing someone say that that grandfathering thing may not apply to someone with a Blackberry. Doesn't make sense to me why that would be the case. I just want to be prepared if I have to do battle with some VZW hack.
