ring icon a200 disappearing act

need help why the ring icon comes and goes....it disappeared again just as I started this thread...is it a common problem or do I have a quirky tab???

Quirky perhaps, but what technology doesn't have moments of hysteria!

Recommend: Go to Settings, Ring, and disable the Ring icon (uncheck "Enable Ring icon"). Then properly shutdown and restart the A200, followed by enabling the icon again. This is a strange way of tricking the settings, but this might stop the Houdini Ring. GL!

Aside, have you updated to ICS? If not, this might help also!
