Ringer Volume drops??????

Have the latest OTA update noticed past two days while phone in my pants side pocket the ringer volume goes down on its own??? I have the screen locked prior to placing phone in pocket while at work and I have missed a few calls from home because of ringer volume so low. I set it as high as it will go using rocker buttons on side of phone prior to placing in pocket????/ Anyone else have this problem????

If you are accidentally pressing the volume down button, you can use volume locker from the android market to lock the volume and set required confirmation time to change volume.

there is a setting in the sound section that will lower volume in pocket and when feels movement.

I think that is different.

I have too noticed that my ringer volume will be all the way down or much lower then I set while the phone is in my pocket. I have to unlock the phone and increase the ringer volume a few times a week because of this. Its annoying and I only have MR1, have not received MR2 yet.

I think this is due to that setting as well that Yoda referred too.

Hi, yes the exact same thing, its driving me nuts.

Any phone conversation results in zero on the volume ringer without going into 'silent mode' once the phone is locked and the screen goes blank.

I have not touched the volume rocker and I have checked all the sound settings.

I have now installed Volume Lock App to stop it..but lets face it its a sticking plaster.

I have experienced this as well. It doesn't happen all the time, but it happens enough that I also have to check the ringer volume on a regular basis to make sure I don't miss any calls. I'm still on MR2 right now.

I have tried checking and unchecking the "quiet ring on pick-up" option but it doesn't seem to make any difference. So, I have no idea why it happens, but I'm glad to hear it's not just my phone..... even though I wish it didn't happen to any of our phones. Maybe GB will fix this for us.
