Ringtone and Notification Link?

Is there anyway to link the two? It's a little annoying to have to change both every time, unless I'm putting the phone in silent mode.

Anybody have any thoughts on how to do this? This is one of my biggest gripes of this phone. Why would I want my notifications up all the way if I want my ringer low? Just seems like too many steps to do the same thing.

Try the app Phone Weaver. Links (or unlinks) sounds....

Thanks. That seems a little steep for just wanting to link those. I wonder if there's any other way that doesn't cost $4.

I have been using this app since beta testing. I didn't pay for it, but I couldn't imagine my androids without it. And I don't use it to link sounds! Is there a trial version?

I'm curious what exactly you're trying to "link." Are you looking for something like profiles, where it plays certain sounds during (for example) working hours but then switches during off-hours? You could also try Setting Profiles or Tasker. I think those do what (I think) you're asking for :)

I'm looking for something that will allow my notification volume to change when I change the volume on my ringer. Every other Android phone I have had has allowed this. I think it's very counter productive to make me have to open up the volume and change the notification volume every time I want to change it and my ring volume. Just doesn't make sense to me for it to be that way.

Ohhhhh I was way off. Yeah, I don't know how to do that =P

I was also trying to find a way to do this. Seems a bit stupid for a phone built with humans in mind or whatever he gimmick is.

Still its a small price to pay for an awesome phone.

I'm interested in finding a fix for it too...Also, while I always complained that ringtones were so quiet on other phones, on my S3, if I don't set it for vibrate, and turn down the vibrate, the ringtone scares the bejesus out of me at night. Is there a way to turn the ringtones down lower than the lowest setting?
