ringtone not looping

I added a custom ringtone. Basic ringer. Its only one ring sound. On my epic it use to loop it. When I get a phone call now it plays the single ring and doesn't loop it.

Is there a way to change this? I dont see it if there is.

I mean I guess it's no big deal to edit and make it loopa few times in the computer before putting it on. But then I need a computer when I want a new basic ringtone.

Yea me too.
I tried several things including placing it in a ringtone folder and a notificationS folder I created on the USB memory. Nothing worked for me.

Why isn't this "major" feature not in this "new" phone? Does the ringtone have to be converted to another format to loop besides an mp3? I'm gonna try soundforge or super-c to try to convert it to the nexus s ringtone native format....whatever it is.

Weird... I was just about to say yes; then, I looked real quick: there is no option in the new media player to set as ringtone. You could just copy the audio file and place it in directory sdcard/media/ringtones.
