I went too fast through the set up on my new Samsung Galaxy S10 + and made a mistake. While setting a custom ringtones/notifications, I accidentally selected "always open with default ringtones/notification..." for ringtone or notifications folder. Now, I can't figure out how to UNselect this. Meaning: i can only find the usual "ringtones" or "notification" sounds that comes with every new phone. I want to be able to use sounds that I download or that are controlled by another app like Zedge. If anyone can help with this I would be very thankful. I know it has to be a simple preference setting somewhere but I can not find it

Looking to the sound preference that will allow me to use downloaded sounds or another app to to use sounds.

I accidently clicked "always Use" and now it will only show me the system sounds

Welcome to Android Central! If you manually download a sound file and move it to the /Ringtones, /Notifications, or /Alarms directory, those should show up when the list of tones shows up. So try that, instead of using an app like Zedge. (You can actually download ringtone mp3 files directly from the zedge.net website.)

Reset App preference , by settings>Apps>3 dots right upper corner >reset app preference
This will reset all default apps so you can choose again.
