I have found the zip file and I have rooted my phone using the Ace hack kit. The problem that I am having is that when I boot into recovery mode via hboot I wipe my phone clean/factory reset. I then ?Install zip from sdcard > choose zip from sdcard > select zipfile but when I do that the zip file is not listed. Any ideas. Oh and yes i have confirmed several times that the zip file is loaded onto my sdcard. I have downloaded the rcmix3d 4 different times from different places. I also have tried to install the file from my mac twice and my pc twice with no luck. Oh and if you are wondering the file is stll zipped per the instructions in the effen manual in the Ace hack kit. Needless to say I could use some help. Thanks guys.

OMG I figured the problem out with the zip and started to flash the rcmix3d v4.0 and it gets to a screen where it says CLK yes or MAGLDR no. I have tried both and I get no where it just sits on that screen. Any ideas guys? My phone is now not working. I'm stuck.

How did you flash custom recovery? You might be better off flashing a stock rom in pd98img format, install rom manager from market, flash custom recovery, boot into recovery, and then flash your custom rom.

Well I can safely say I am quickly starting to learn a great deal about rooting. I finally had to take my sd card out and put it in an adapter directly to my phone. I placed cm7 on my card plugged my sd card back in hbooted recovered and installed cm7. I have that installed for now and my phone is once again working. The link i found to download rcmix3d must be corrupted downloaded it 3 different times. I then dug through the last months post on XDA site for rcmix3d and there is link issue but I found in one of the post a direct link to the zip file. Currently downloadin as I am typing this. I would rather use the rcmix3d since it uses sense and I can get the same sort of feel as my stock rom was.
Besides that just out of curiousity does the rxmix3d v4.0 come with beats audio? I noticed a few of the guys and their signatures on the XDA site said rxmix3d v4.0 with beats audio and Sony Bravia.

Well answered my own question about the beats audio. It does come with it FYI if anyone is interested.

woohoo I got the download to work from the direct link posted in this thread. Man this rom is nice. Woohoo way to go RC Team. I'm throughly impressed.

If you like sense roms you might want to check out this rom. Doesn't have all the extra's rcmix3d does, but it also is a lot easier on memory. There's a 3.0 and a 3.5 rom version.

Make sure you read the part in red carefully. They flash the stock recovery along with the rom, so after flashing the rom you will have to re-flash a custom recovery again. You can do that either in rom manager if you use clockworkmod recovery or you can use 4ext recovery touch found here if you want ext4 wipe support and touch screen capability.

I've used the beats audio on my inspire. Spent sound that great on a device that wasn't built for beats.
