Robin's Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 Thread

Re: screen protector?

I think it's more of a personal preference, than a necessity. If you have a good quality cover for your tablet and are careful, then I don't think you need one. Having owned several Samsung tablets, I've found that the screens are fairly scratch resistant, but if the screen protector makes you feel safer, by all means use one.

Re: dreamstime

It's called Daydream, and it just looks cool, like a screensaver while the device is idle.

Re: app 2 sd

see for yourself.
go to settings>application manager>click on an app in one of the lists and see the move to sd card option. (it is not available for all apps but for the vast majority of them it is.)

if you have the latest update for the sgt 3 8.0 you will even see a dedicated list in the application manager listing apps that can be/are on sd card.

Re: dreamstime

it only works when screen times out (not shut off on pupose) and only when charging and/or docked. I don't see the point in it really.

Re: dreamstime

I think it was originally intended as a neat feature while sitting in a dock, instead of just showing a boring clock.

Re: dreamstime

For that its pretty cool, but if you don't have a dock (like me) it doesn't do much.

question about apps

Hi folks. I have the apex launcher installed and when I search for apps some are not listed though they are installed.

Re: Galaxy Tab 3 - got SD card

My kids have both got a tab 3 7" and have nearly used all spare memory which is now starting to cause the tab to freeze and apps crash. So an sd card is a must for me !!

Re: Galaxy Tab 3 - got SD card

Can you recommend any good apps for transfering apps to an sdcsrd?
