Am I the only one getting a parsing error when I try to load Rock Band?

I am having the same issue. It seems to get to a certain percentage sometimes and then freezes with a parsing error and then the other times it gives the parsing error from the get go.

Parse Error also

Tried force closing and reloading and same error

Was going to delete the data and retry, but the system says there isn't any

didn't work for me either. i get the "downloading rock band" screen... it gets about 60-80% done and the app dies...

Wait for it, they advertised this specific to the phone, first to have it. I was kinda happy to get it, but no we have to pay for it. Horrible job there, along with other bloatwire video-apps.

I hope Skype isn't charged to use, lol.

Well since everyone was having problems downloading or installing it, I figured I would install the rockband.apk I had sorta just sitting around on my computer from the system dumb 2 months ago... just to see if it would install.

And It did install for me, the full version. All 203.5mb of it.

I power-cycled the phone, and then pulled the battery, and it still won't break free. Went to the VZW store and they said to contact the developer - which is some 3rd party DB. He had no idea why a non-licensed 'app' was cooked in.

Has anyone [shudder] tried a hard reset and then try to install the application. I know that is it working for some......

I was able to "clear" the parsing error by removing (i actually copied it to my computer in case you need it) the rockband.apk that is in the root of the filesystem when connected to computer. However - I have not yet re-downloaded the demo so the error may happen again.

Just to follow up, I re-opened and downloaded on wifi after deleting the rockband.apk and it successfully downloaded and runs now.

I was able to download the app okay, but only by using wifi. It took a long time to download. I played with the app, but I didn't like it, and soon uninstalled it. What's really annoying is that the app left behind dozens and dozens of small audio clip files within my Music folder, which I had to manually delete. The files left behind all have 1 or 2 letter file names such as "aa", "bb", "z", etc. Annoying. I wish I could delete this stupid app.
