Roll back twitter update?

Since I installed the latest twitter updates from the market, my notifications have stopped working. The app in general seems worse, and I'd like to roll back a version or two. Is this possible?

unless you've backed your stuff up so you would have a functional copy saved (which everybody should really do) then i think the only way is to just google the older version of the program and find someone to download it from or have someone here post the older apk.
