[ROM][5.07.2011][ED01]Community Rom V1.3

Sharky when this all gets cooled down we need to play with that voltage, i know ur hella busy now, did u see what i posted a few pages back? I started messing with it so should have a jump on it. Kev you r missing out...did i just hear you coughing? you better go home sick and rest......

I'm messing with it right now. I started off as you said with anything 1000mhz and under at -50 and applied it.

OK, I just flashed Community and it says "Install from sdcard complete" at the bottom but at the top of CWM it says "apply sdcard:update.zip" I thought it was was gonna say "reboot system now" am I doing something wrong?

This is the first custom ROM that I have seen that I really really want! No offense to all the devs out there... I may have to try this out! can always go back if I don't like it, right?

You can make a nandroid backup.

And what are you running currently?

I kind of want to kick it up and go crazy but my phone wouldnt even work with imnuts -100 half the time. so I think I have a nancy phone. that will have to just stay at this but i went up to -75!!! Its kind of like build ur own kernel which is pretty awesome

I'm gonna wait a day with -50 and see how it runs. If it runs fine, I'm booting it up to -75 the next day.

Flashed over 2.9.2 and have EC01 radio... Everything went smooth. Haven't found any problems. (knock on wood). Looks great! Great job!

Is this a sound method to get to community rom? (Coming from sc 2.9.2/EC10 nonvoodoo)
1. go back to stock (just want to start fresh) - http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...acks/64607-how-return-stock-froyo-update.html
2. do Froyo ED01 package - http://forum.androidcentral.com/ver...l-froyo-ed01-packaged-custom-roms-w-root.html
3. place community rom in sd card
4. reboot to recovery (red), go to voodoo, click enable lag fix. Wait for female voice.
5. install community rom from CWM

Am I missing something? Anything out of order?

Thanks in advance for the help.

You can skip step 2 if you r going to be getting ED01 from the update VIA OTA which if u are going through the hassle of starting fresh u should do cause than u get the modem....if i am not mistaken.

Don't wait for me. Between answering questions, starting on an ODIN package and trying to finish my cold dinner I won't have time to play with the voltage settings for a while.

I don't think he is going to wait on the OTA. You can shorten that down because flashing the Debloated/Deodexed in there is an unnecessary step as it is basically a less customized version of the community ROM. Just change step 2 to flashing just the EC01 radio in ODIN. Several links to the EC01 radio in this thread a few pages back. Like everyone else said, install community ROM, then enable lag fix on the way out of cwm before you reboot. Actually everyone should be safe if you forget to enable lag fix. I believe nemesis2all's voodoo kernels will automatically do the conversion for you.
