I just read through this whole thread so im pretty much brought up to speed. I figured im going to give ED01 modem a try through going back to DL09 through odin, boot into CWM flash EA28 update.zip reboot into CWM then flash ED01 update.zip. After that I can flash gizmo's CWM_Recovery_All_Fix.tar reboot into CWM again and finally flash the community ROM?

Shark--sorry I pm'd you brother I hadn't read through all the posts yet..but just did.. and you've been working overtime..(you can delete my pm if you want) seems like lots of redundant answers..it would be cool if people actually read this thread before asking a question, it seems you've answered the same ?'s more than three times each.....

anyway..the one question I have is this..and perhaps Adry if your reading you can answer..

Did you/dev's involved make any headway with a bt voice dialer with the official release? Or is it Nuance for life? lol..

With that said, I saw that Shark said the TW launcher.zip from 2.9.2 will work over this, but does this hold true to the other patches from 2.9.2..i.e. Thinkfree, Nuance, etc.. I thought they had updated Nuance for ED01...to improve voice recognition or something.. so I didn't know if there would be a new .zip for the updated nuance.. I was hoping for some good ole' AOSP bt voice dialing... but you can't always get what you want..

If they won't work, will you be posting patches on the op (apart from the backup assistant)?

Clear D-cache and cache and flash away friend

You can apply a secondary (or more) launcher after the ROM is installed.

Personally I use Go Launcher and Go SMS. Just my .02

wipe cache and dalvik.

Yep, that would be the only way to get the ED01 modem right now.

Just download a a launcher of your choice and use that instead. I like Go Launcher.

If you flashed the EC01 radio, did you also flash the CWM-recovery-all-3-30-fix? If not make sure you flash that in ODIN too. If you already flashed it, boot to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, flash the community rom. After flashing if you want to run on non voodoo, from the main cwm page, scroll down to voodoo, power button, scroll to disable lag fix, power button get back to main cwm menu by pressing either menu or search soft key, power button to reboot, good to go.
