Wow!!! Definitely noticing the differences right off the bat. Big improvements with flash player... I tested it on adultswim.com videos as I was never able to access with SC 2.9 or SC 2.9.2 despite having flashplayer 10.2 , but can access everything now. Noticeably faster... Video recorder does not have any audio lag as I was experiencing in 2.9.2 (looked like old kung fu flicks when you spoke into the camera, lol), and transitions are much faster and more seamless. Everything just seems faster, & smoother so far. Just my first 15min impressions... Great job devs!!! Great job community!!! Thanks to everyone involved & keeping the Fascinate running tip top!!!!!!

I'm gonna wait a day with -50 and see how it runs. If it runs fine, I'm booting it up to -75 the next day.

To be honest, I'm not too sure. I do not know much about voltage control.

I'm following bigjobber's advice on page 15ish in this thread. All i know if my phone is not lagging at -50, you bump it up -75. If my phone is laggy today I will put it back down to -25.

If you flashed the EC01 radio, did you also flash the CWM-recovery-all-3-30-fix? If not make sure you flash that in ODIN too. If you already flashed it, boot to recovery, wipe cache and dalvik cache, flash the community rom. After flashing if you want to run on non voodoo, from the main cwm page, scroll down to voodoo, power button, scroll to disable lag fix, power button get back to main cwm menu by pressing either menu or search soft key, power button to reboot, good to go.

I have the ec01 modem but haven't flashed the cwm all 3-30 yet, I just have the red cwm that came with sc29. Do I need to use the cwm 3-30 foe the comm rom?

Flash CWM 3-30, then flash community ROM using CWM.

I got away with just wiping cache and dalvik.

Screen Rotating

Anybody having an issue with the screen rotating to landscape mode? I've unchecked the auto rotate screen setting in display mode, and it still rotates. Am I missing something?

I have been running 75 under on 1000-400 and 100 under on 200&100 since about 9 last night. I think I an going to bring them down to 100 under one at a time.

Just a little constructive criticism; the green on gray font color when you are asked in swype what word you meant to type is really hard to read.

I agree... I hate to complain about it after all the hard work but it is very hard to read.:-X

Just took the KangBang plunge! Crossing my fingers & hoping it works out smoothly. Currently in the middle of reboot... Was wondering, do you guys delete the old .zip rom files on your sd? I'm guessing I should delete the old 130mb 2.9.2 since I won't be needing it anymore...

Hi,
I save all my zip, tar, and apk files in a folder on the PC and usually keep 2 ROMS and 2 Kernels on the SD. There is a great APP called webkey that allows wireless transfer of files (useful for me as my phone is in a case), the other option is moving files via BT (my phone and laptop both use USB/BT 3.0) then just use a root file manager (super manager) to move the file(s) within your phone.

Ok.... So I just decided to wipe everything and ODIN back to DL09 so I could do the upgrade path and get the ED01 Radio. I reloaded CwM 2.5.x via ODIN, booted into CwM and installed the Community Rom....

I didn't know if all that ODIN wiping would clear out my Voodoo but I went ahead and just loaded the ROM anyway. Then I start hearing the Voodoo android Lady talking to me. I guess it automatically converted me back since I failed to do it for myself before booting.... thanks guys!

I know it was a few pages ago but I got some screen caps of the mms buttons. I think the problem some people may be having is that the 3 buttons (recent, contacts, groups) go away when you place the cursor in the message field.

Ya this still no worky for me.....but doesnt really bother me, just dont know why.

Ditto for me no big deal was just trying to see if there was a way to get it for those that will really miss it.

Once again thanks to all those who worked on this Rom so far it is simply amazing better than I could have ever expected, and im sure better than what vzw garbage was released in stock release

I don't think he is going to wait on the OTA. You can shorten that down because flashing the Debloated/Deodexed in there is an unnecessary step as it is basically a less customized version of the community ROM. Just change step 2 to flashing just the EC01 radio in ODIN. Several links to the EC01 radio in this thread a few pages back. Like everyone else said, install community ROM, then enable lag fix on the way out of cwm before you reboot. Actually everyone should be safe if you forget to enable lag fix. I believe nemesis2all's voodoo kernels will automatically do the conversion for you.

Yes. I had to reflash it via ODIN. Also when I went back to stock it gave me options for the updates immediately.

Yeah this happened to me. I forgot to re-voodoo and luckily because of nemesis2all's design I heard the android lady talking to me. Reassuring that my stupid mistake would not throw me into a force close loop.

no matter what i do to this or any rom I get SOD (except the full verizon version of froyo b.c i havent tried it yet and dnt plan 2)... i have minor screen burn in that the verizon reps said they would replace the phone if i wanted however i chose to decline at the moment.... are a lot of you experiencing SOD and wat do u think the odds of me wasting my time and experiencing SOD on a custom rom if i go n get a brand new fascy

I refreshed the SOD Post. Maybe if we get it, we should follow the old steps. Go back to DL09 then up to ED01, wipe cache and data, then flash the CR. If I get it, I will fix permissions first, then go back to the old steps.

I did have an issue where the market was not showing my apps, but I cleared the data and now they show up. Just in case anyone else has this issue.

When you flash this rom will it already be set to run in voodoo or do you need to enable the lagfix befor rebooting?
