Believe me, I appreciate the hand holding from both of you.

Well, I'm back from the brink. Wiped and wiped and flashed and all. It always amazes me... the directions always look like they are going to take so long but always go by quite fast.

Do I need the browser patch if it seems to be working ok? I'm guessing not?

ok, I'm back. How come I can't turn off the haptic feedback? I keep going into TSM parts and unchecking it and it keeps rechecking itself. I've rebooted several times and still no luck.

did you try shutting it off from settings>sounds

go to settings about phone,
give use your basband info

Does the baseband info change when you go back to stock 2.1, because i uninstalled this rom due to that issue.
but just in case my baseband version is S:i5000.04 V.DI01

yeah thats your problem, you need to be running either EB01/EC01/ED01

Flash THIS with odin and you should be fine,

or

you can flash back to DL09 update up to ED01 then flash the rom again

that is just the modem, so if you are running the community rom now just flash it and you will be ok....if you are stock at the moment then you may aswell take the time to update then flash the rom...

are you stock or are you on comm rom right now

im stock 2.2.1 , i used odin to revert back to that after i wanted this rom off.

you must have used a non stock odin package if you are running 2.2.1 with DI01 baseband.

flash DL09
then place the first update.zip on your sdcard, boot into stock recovery and apply sdcard:update.zip
that will put you in EA28

then delete the update.zip off the sdcard
download the 2nd update.zip and place it on your sdcard
boot into stock recovery and apply sdcard:update.zip
that will leave you at ED01.... then you can flash comm rom and you should be good to go

Im way behind aswell lol no worries im sure someone knows the answer right.. i have yet to even flash comm rom i have been running either CM7 or evil fascinate

Im EH about CM7 again i dont care if its gingerbread based i want something that runs great and that i enjoy
