New rom link up,and everything should be working now. Will have a mirror soon.

haven't found any bugs at all. can't comment on battery life because of all the syncing it's been doing but everything works. gonna test bluetooth on the way home.

add:
linpack likes to hit 37.855 a lot.

I'm sorry but it was mentioned that wireless tethering was not working, is it fixed now? Did I miss something? Anyone else hungry?

Yeap it's working, check post #2 it explains everything and is updated when there are any changes.

The only issue I've found is the multiple gmail accounts issue which is impacting all EVO froyo builds including HTC/Sprint OTA. This is where only the first account you add receives push notifications. Any account added after the first needs to be manually refreshed. Don't worry, we'll (the dev community) fix it probably before HTC even acknowledges it as a issue.

I'm working on a version of this ROM while testing a fix I've also been working on. Cheers to multi-tasking!

Added a Lite version for those that would like a stripped down rom. Please check Lite-Rom-chandelog for details on removed files. Thanks to KSmithInNY for all his hard work and testing to have the knowledge of what is okay to remove without issue.

Can't thank all three of you enough. Loving that I can have a ROM that's not gutted (I need it to be basically stock for demos and testing), but still has the performance tweaks I need, without having to spend time I no longer have to make it myself. :)

this is incredible work, and it's the way the phone should have came from HTC/Sprint.

Wow, I'm honored just to know you use the ROM let alone like it :D

Well I have decided this will be my first ROM ever for me to install.

Starting the root process now with simpleroot.

I haven't done any of the OTA since I bought the phone in early June.

My only question is should I go with the newest radio and wimax first with this?

Ksmith hasn't updated his radio and he hasn't had problems,on my gf phone samething and have no issues. It's more of a choice,I plan to have the radios and a how to flash them up by tomorrow.

I wish I had not installed the leaked 2.2 update (and hence broke root) so that I could install this rom.

Rookie android user mistake.

Well I just rooted for the first time tonight, and I used this ROM, and I have good news and bad news.

Good news is this thing is awesome. Way fast, everything works, it's smooth as silk. Has sense which I like.

Bad news is, is I'm a total idiot for not doing this sooner.

This ROM is amazing. Battery life is great. Stability is rock solid. Can't wait to see what else you guys can do when the kernel source is released by HTC.

Thanks for all your hard work.

quick question, is this ROM base of the Leak or Official version?

Edited for thread cleanliness - Please see notes in change log attached to post 1 for information specific to ROM build and changes.

Thank you for the information,

I install the lite version and keep getting a force close,
HTC.bpg.com. Everything else works great.

How can I get one of the apps that was taken out from the lite version?

What are you doing or attempting to do when getting this FC. I would like to see if I can duplicate it. I've been on the lite ROM for almost 24 hours with no errors, FC's .... nothing but smooth sailing.

Regarding how to add stuff back. Open the document attached to post #2 called "bloat" and scroll down. Depending on what you want to add back you may have to edit the ROM, sign it, then flash it. I'm curious to know what it is you'd like back. We obviously can't custom tailor ROM's for every single person but I'm just curious :)

Edited 8/18 for thread cleanliness - Please see bug list in post # 2 for information and workaround.
