Do what works for you. If you like it, do it. I pin mine to 245 when screen off.

I'm currently at 26% battery with 7 hours off the charger, I should be getting better then this, this is with set cpu and my screen brightness turned down to the letter U in automatic.

Do this in command prompt and tell me what it says.
adb shell
top -m 5 -n 1

How do I do that?

Do you adb set up on your pc?
If you do open command prompt and type
adb shell (which should return # sign)Then type or copy&paste this

top -m 5 -n 1

That should give you a print out of the top 5 processes.

thats what i just got now, would u like me to do the same after a full day of usage to see whats draining my battery?

I have been running the latest AC Rom for a while now, probably a few days after it was released and I am having a problem.
When my phone is on standby sometimes I get calls and the phone will not ring. I will go to use it and I find that I had a call or even an email. Anyone else have that issue? It seems like it goes into a deep sleep and will not wake up to notify me.
Other than that I have no issues. Thanks for the help and any thoughts.

Not related to the ROM. Ring lag is caused by your slot cycle AND your signal strength which cannot be changed with a ROM.

Might want to give THIS a read

I should also note that changing a slot cycle index won't amount to a hill of beans if the cause is reception. You can ping a tower every .5 seconds if you want but if there's no tower or poor connection, SCI doesn't help.

EDIT - one last thought. If you're running a custom kernel (which you shouldnt report any issues until removing kernel and flashing ours) some people have issues with waking the phone up to answer a call when it's pinned to 128MHz. The process doesn't react quick enough for you to answer.

Thanks for the quick reply.
I am running the ROM as you have put it out. I used to have Blackberries and I am tired of playing around with roms. The days of loading hybrids and tinkering with them are behind me. LOL
I will read the lick you posted. I had feeling that it had nothing to do with the rom.

Good luck and in your troubleshooting process you might want to upgrade to the newest AC-ROM V 2.7 ::hint hint::
