I can confirm wireless tethering DOES NOT work. Back to 2.1 I go. THanks for the effort guys. Much appreciated. Really want this rom especially since it will be themed AndoidCentral lol.

What's it saying for you? Worked for me last night.

Edit - can you also tell me how you had it setup? I had access control turned off and security turned off, basically a wide open network.

Would test again but I'm in the middle of moving and my PC is at the new house. Any info helps. Thanks.

Edit #2 - Just got back to my PC and now i see what you're saying. Last night when i connected to Android tether my PC said connected so i moved on in testing. When I look closer today it connects but doesn't appear to be assigning an IP address so im unable to browse.

I have it wide open. It recognizes the network name but can not connect.

I can confirm that easy tether DOES WORK. So thats a fix until you guys come up with something different or unrevoked comes out with another.

hey beez, i flashed a OC kernel, thoasted's over at XDA updated 2.2 kernel. OC works, And my connection issue is fixed. just a heads up.

Do you have any kind of windows VM on that MAC? Would be interested to see if using the stock kernel, the VM would recognize the device. If so it would at least get you off that kernel.

UPDATE: It appears the market is now updated(ing) and you should be able to see some app's you've purchased in the past (on 2.1) using this ROM, assuming the app is included in the 2.2 market. Some still do not appear for me while others that weren't available yesterday and now ready to download.

ALSO (drum roll) - The DEV for SetCPU has updated his product to work with 2.2 so now PERFLOCK DISABLER WORKS!!!! You are now free to underclock this ROM

yeah, i wasn't paying attention yesterday and my phone was sitting in my truck, in direct sunlight, while charging. needless to say it got hot. sooo, underclocking while charging is very welcome.

oh, and don't leave it in direct sunlight.

For anyone wanting the FPS and Overlock fix in 2.2 and thats the only thing holding you back try the link below. It worked for me on t0ast3d's ROM and this might be enough to hold people over until our AC guys get the kernel working for our custom ROM

Installing this causes my screen not to respond to touch. If I flash back to the stock kernel, screen works fine. Damn.

Despite your screen not working, please read the updated FAQ in post #2 regarding these "FPS fix" kernels prior to flashing them to ensure you're aware of what they are doing.
