actually i am in the 309 haha... i actually did the radio and wimax updates that were included, im not so much having problems with the signal im now signed into the market but when i try and download anything i get nothing, if i go to try to click install again it says its starting the download but its been like 25-30 mins and still nothing, also cant connect to the tethering, however my internet and everything else works great and moderatly fast???

Open the app and make sure that it's checked to allow auto update or whatever it says.What seems to be the problem with tethering?

it just really bums me out, ive been so stoked about rooting now that ive done it i cant have apps anymore? I really wish there was an easy way to go back to stock at this point : (

Trust me this is gonna be easy, we have hundreds and hundreds of people running this ROM without issue.


1) what recovery image do you have? If the answer is clockwork, open ROM manager and flash an alternate recovery image (amen ra)
2) go to recovery and wipe and wipe factory-data/cache/dalvik
3) flash the ROM

It works like a charm

im using amon ra for recovery, (i was scared of deviating away from the video lol) i did the wipes for factory-data and cache but didnt see dalvik??? As for tethering it shows up in the wireless networks my laptop just wont connect to it, im not so worried about the tethering as im sure ill get it figured out, its mainly the marketplace problem that scares me

oh yeah and i dont have rom manager its set to download but that brings us back to the original problem of things not downloading, its been close to an hour now and still nothing, they all just say starting download

Just follow my steps above a couple of posts and see what happens. Please report back.

errrr ok well i tried all that and i still seem to be running into the same problem... it really does seems like my phones having a hard time connecting to googles server?

dont know if it changes anything but i also just noticed that the data synchronizing icon has been lit the whole time here, i know that wasnt like that before?

OK so i toggled airplane mode and it eventually let me download rom manager, im gonna try and get titanium backup now..."fingers crossed"

No, sorry for not being clear:

1) in recovery, wipe factory-cache/cache/dalvik
2) immediately flash AC-ROM. Do not flash radios, do not flash themes, do not flash anything but AC-ROM 2.5.
3) select reboot, then test. Don't use titanium, don't use MBpro, simply reboot after wipe and flash then test.

I had the exact same problem during testing when I didn't wipe properly (hold the jokes). Each time it was fixed by a proper wipe then flash

well full signal and nothing but problems still, ive done the whole full wipe and reflashed EVERYTHING and still the only thing that wont work is the market, its even having a hard time just connecting and getting into it, ive done everything by the book so whats next?

Are you flashing everything independently? you cannot flash 2 thing at once.

You should:
- flash the ROM
- reboot
- flash the radio (if you haven't already)
- reboot
- flash the wimax (if you haven't already)
- reboot
- Flash the theme (if you want if not skip to down two)
- reboot
- flash icon pack
- reboot

See the pattern?

you have to be rooted to install any ROM outside of what Sprint tells you to install. This is Sprints ROM .... but way better
