I'm wondering. Since I did the downgrade from 2.2 ota to 2.1 then this, is there a chance my radios need to be updated with the files posted here or would they remain untouched

Reflashing the radios wouldn't hurt anything, and it's simple to do.

Question, I see the perflock is disabled in version 2.4. Does that remain the case for 2.5. I ask because I am about to use SepCPU and it suggests that I disable perflock. If it is already disabled should i just continue on? I don't want to have to disable it after every boot. Thanks ahead of time for the help.

the 2.2 ROMs i have seen want you to update the radios. including the AC ROM.

as far as i know it should still be disabled. they would have made mention in the change log again if the enabled and there really isn't a reason we would want to enable it.

last question lol..the files listed for radio and wimax..are they the latest and greatest?

Please tell me i didn't mess up.

So i am removing bloat. I went into the data/data folder and removed the folders that corresponded to the programs in the bloat.txt doc. After that I realize I should have been in the data/app folder. Will that mess my phone up? What should I do from there? Should I still delete apk's. Please help. Just want to make sure I didn't TOTALLY screw up :) And to edit my original post...WoW. I was totally in the wrong folder, I should be in system/app not data app. What should i do next

flash the ROM (no wipe) again. then go back and be sure you are in the correct folder while deleting. and remember -- haste makes waste.

i haven't found any newer.

Awesome...just for the heck of it I flashed the radio first as per instructions, and waiting for the formatting cache bar to show up.. 5 min or so and no bar...just Formatting cache.. I know its takes awhile but this long?

Could it be that im using Amon and not clockwork? Ill try clockwork now ..

Well clockwork did fine, it just hung on AR :(

hmm, when you flash a radio it takes a brief couple seconds to move the files and then has you reboot. after a reboot it finnishes installing the radio. has that been done yet?

i ask because i have had recovery hang on me before and i had to pull the battery.

If I remember correctly when I did it stopped on three dots after it was done. (for example ... ) It looked like it wasn't done but it was. I just didn't pay attention at first cuz I thought it was gonna take longer than it did.

Yeah im rebooting after each flash...Whats the version numbers I should be up to when all is said and done to make sure it took.

If you flashed and you have signal it worked. IDK what the version numbers are, though, and I can't remember where to go to look them up, either. Sorry.

oh crap I just remembered where to go when UTnick posted his. Mine is 2.15.00.07.28

Makes me wonder if it goes by date that it was flashed, but I'm not sure about that, so don't take my word for it.

Luv the look and feel of this Rom. But the battery life is garbage.I'm lucky to get 11 hours with full charge outside The phone. (with the extra charger) have flashed new radio. No WiFi,god, Bluetooth, no 4g, if battery life is fixed I will keep this Rom. Luv the theme as well. I'm coming from 40 hrs with baked snack.
