Shabbymod was awesome when the Prevail first came out and was Rooted based upon the Work of ShabbyPenguin and interdpth. It was great when we were running Frozen Yogurt.

For Gingerbread:

I would recommend looking at the work of Hroark in porting CM7 to the Prevail. That was my personal choice when I used my Prevail for 2 years. I still have it and it runs solid without a data plan.

Also, you should look at CTMOD by BloodDawn. Awesome Rom, with a big fan base.

Android Forums is the place to look for info on these Roms.

I am still on my Samsung Replenish over here and I was wondering if you could pm me about porting this over.. I needed a deodexed rom so I went ahead and deodexed and zipaligned the old Phoenix Rom 0.2 because it was the only rom that still had working links.. that is what I am currently running, but I was hoping we could work together to port this over!
