ROM ALERT: ACS Froyo Build DK17 *Stable*

If you've been waiting for a stable Froyo build, this is it. The developers report no bugs and no force closes. This is also based on the newest Froyo beta version, which was leaked to the public only a couple hours ago.

i thought everyone in the syndicate rom was all getting on theri knees for this.

i dont know if it is.. but im staying at 2.1 roms till 2.2 is final..
It seems to me every day a new update for a rom is out...i cant do it..

I just flashed this rom, and now my SPRINT service is down. Any ideas how to get that running again?
I also noticed that Airplane Mode keeps toggling ON/OFF...

did you read at all... you have 2 posts across 2 threads asking the same thing, when the asnwere in right there in the thread at xda....

I was able to fix the problem by flashing a 2.1 ROM, installing the modem correctly, and then flashing 2.2. Thanks for everyone's assistance!

my question is can you flash the modem on 2.1 or does it have to be 2.2? Also if you choose to go back to 2.1 does that affect anything?

The 2.2 modem needs the Froyo OS. Not a good idea to use it with Eclair.

how difficult is it to flash back to the 2.1 modem if i decide not to mess with 2.2 til official is out and rooted into a custom rom?

Shouldn't be hard at all. There have been a few posts in this forum of people reverting to 2.1 successfully.

I have this ROM rooted and it works great, only thing is I've noticed that my music on my sd card, doesn't play correctly. It sounds like static. I tried removing my music and re-adding it to my card, but to no avail. Any suggestions?
