The Down Low:

Well here it is a semi custom build of the stock rom.
This will not wipe your data, and if comming from stock setup then there is no need to wipe data!

- [Kernel] [GPL] Sense 2.6.32.21 OC/UV 1.51GHZ (CFS-Smartass-TUN) Thanks to bcnice20
- Default CPU clock will be 1.2ghz with ondemand , changable thru setcpu or if you want to edit the kernel directly. I have never been a fan of the overclocking apps as once the system is boot they need to wait for the SU to grant permissions for the settings. this way it is from boot.

If you would like to change the defaults in the kernel just look in init.speedy.rc

- Unlocked 3G USB tethering & Sprint Hotspot - no need for any other apks aka wired or wireless tether
Read ahead fixed to 512k for the SDcard (speed fix) - should increase the read times from sdcard
- 5meg limit on the mms
- Rosie Md for 5 rows
- Tweaks for the system to increase overall performance
- Battery % on battery meter
- Removed USB Debug notification
- Modded Flash Player so Hulu works
- HTC_IME mod
- Annoying ads in programs are blocked

This rom has issues using the market, the keyboard backlight doesn't work, and there are issues with tethering on some phones.

I would not install the current version unless you're willing to deal with that.

Yes wait a day or two till the bugs are worked out. I could live without the keyboard blight but now market is a killer. I am keeping a close eye on the progress I will post back when the next version comes out.

Yeah.. I can do without the backlit for a while. But the market, yeah.. tell me about it!!!

But 2 people seem to got it working

I loaded the market apk in my /data/app and /system/app folders then with a reboot market works like a champ.

Tested updating, installing, uninstalling apps, and no force close.

I did clear the dalvik cache and just flashed the rom using clockwork recovery 3 so far the market works fine. I can install update and uninstall so far no errors. Keyboard light is not working but the keyboard is not that big of a deal.

I just tested this so for those who just cant wait for this ROM I have an easy way to get the Market working. Do a factory reset wipe data and Dalvic then install this ROM:

NFX-Shift STOCK 1.17.651.1 PNG optimized/zipaligned deodexed updated 2/6 - xda-developers

When install is complete install the new ROM over it without wiping anything and the Market will be working.

Edit: still no keyboard back light though
