Well, it'll be a while. I'm currently also working on something else, and haven't been able to get the environment set up. I've spent probably ~7 hours of the last 2 days working on something else, not to mention work, and my social life. Remember, I'm 15 :p and also, I like to sleep during the day. A lot. Lol. Thanks for the support, ill try to get it going soon.

heres what i get on logcat when turning on wifi

Code:
D/msm7x27.gralloc( 1503): [1] state R, expected A
E/msm7x27.gralloc( 1503): [1] state S, expected R
E/msm7x27.gralloc( 1503): Found 0 buf to be not avail
D/msm7x27.gralloc( 1503): [0] state R, expected A
E/msm7x27.gralloc( 1503): [1] state A, expected S
E/msm7x27.gralloc( 1503): [0] state S, expected R
E/msm7x27.gralloc( 1503): [0] state A, expected S
E/WifiStateMachine( 1503): Failed to load driver!
E/WifiStateMachine( 1503): DriverFailedState

If any awesome devs could help me out it would be appreciated. Ive tried adding the driver from the rom i pulled the boot.img from and it was a no go.

I can give full logcat if needed

Are you building the kernel from source or pulling in the boot.img pre built from another rom, because that's what I've seen happen when its pulled from another rom

Ya know, it will all work eventually. You guys are great! Part of me wants to upgrade phones, but the few I'm looking at don't have ICS yet. Its hard to justify upgrading when my phone is running better than newer ones.
An just to throw this out there ...why is everyone so pumped about jb? Its a tablet os. ICS still isn't 100% functional yet. I've looked at what it offers and I'm wondering what we are going to gain by using that?
Sry to go off topic, but I've been wondering this for weeks now.
My apologies sellers. ;)

Pulling from another rom, because if I leave the boot.img that gets built with the rom you get no service and the battery indicator doesn't work. I'm wondering if it isn't permissions. I'll look into it.

I added the modules from the rom I pulled the boot.img from and wifi turns on and stays on, it just doesn't pick up any hotspots. I got another logcat and its similar but a little different. I'll see what I can do.
