[ROM] Android Open Kang Project

lol I'm afraid of flashing and then DT would be like JK GUYS HERE'S THE WATER OF LIFE

Does B32 heat up at all for you folks? Haven't flashed, but a buddy that has had some heat problem?

Not much of a twitter user but for the heck of it, I hit the follow button @romanbb.
Couple tweets in the last couple hours:
"We're on a feature freeze until after Milestone 5's release. Builds until then will be majorly bug fixes."
"We're not ready for another milestone just yet, but I expect a build 33 tonight."

Then I hit the "following" button. Most all the big time rom, kernel, and app developers and one name in particular are following roman....Andy Rubin?!

Ok taking off my in awe face now. :P

I haven't had any heat issues. A little with large downloads, but definitely less than when I was on stock. I think most of my heat issues on stock were due to weak signal though.

I still get a little heat when it's struggling to get a signal, but only on 3G it seems.

Sorry for all that. Short answer = No, not really.

I have had no heat problems on 32 either, though my battery does seem to be lasting longer.

Finally flashed AOKP build 32 today and have two minor issues.

First, I couldn't change my default keyboard in Settings like I have with past builds. The option is there but it doesn't work. I had to enable the IME icon to switch to Thumb Keyboard as my default.

Second, my owner information doesn't display on the lock screen. I did a full wipe as recommended but it could be a bad flash. Will try wiping just cache and Dalvik and reflashing build 32.

Anyone else encounter these issues?

Update: Since build 33 dropped, I just went ahead and did a clean install of 33. Don't have either of these issues with build 33 and they really may not have been bugs in build 32 since I haven't seen any other reports over at the Rootzwiki thread. I'm thinking it was just a glitch during the flashing process. In any event, everything seems to be running fine now.

I've seen it mentioned to fix small quirky stuff to do a dirty reinstall of just the rom. Might help. But since 33 is out well....
