[ROM] Android Open Kang Project

Jelly Belly ROM has gotten really, really good. The only issue that I'm getting on 3.2 is the Google Sound Search doesnt work (big deal..) Wifi tether works flawlessly, wifi itself, 3g, 4g, sms, mms (although i noticed mms is finicky when you try to send on on wifi right now). IF you havent tried it and want a stable JB ROM, I'd suggest anything v3.2 or above would do the trick.

I am patiently waiting for AOKP to release a JB rom as well, I'm really starting to miss my bag o' goodies from team kang.

Thanks for the update. I think the last couple I tried were Jelly Belly 2.X and Vicious 3.0 (I think).

The worst issues I had were around volume issues when listening to Google music while running RunDouble (training for a 5K) and with Wifi Tether. FoxFi was not working. Do you have any knowledge of similar issues? I understand if you don't because they are pretty specific, but it never hurts to ask. :)

Like the rest of you, i am looking forward to an AOKP Jelly Bean ROM. Just be mindful of the kittens. ;)

I have never used rundouble, but I use google music daily in my car and havent noticed any volume issues (i imagine you mean not being able to hear anything or volume fluctuations) while connecting the headphone jack to the aux port on my stereo. Not sure if that helps you or not.

Foxfi didnt work for me either. When I saw that the built in tether wasnt working i tried foxfi to no avail. But as of jelley belly v3.2 the built in tether is working fine and under verizon's radar so I havent tried foxfi since.

This is going to be a dumb question, but where is the built in tether?

EDIT: Nevermind...it was a dumb question. Found it. Now I need a shortcut.

Can we please keep this thread to the AOKP ICS topic and start a new thread regarding AOKP JB when it drops?

I second this suggestion as some people will still (no clue why) want to stay with ICS...again not sure why...and some of us ready to jump right into AOKP JB goodness (yours truly) would like a thread dedicated just for AOKP for JB.

It may happen tonight. They're teasing hardcore. One of their new team members just posted this and they retweeted it...

I've flashed a few ROMs the past week and have my phone setup time down down to about 30-40 mins. I'm prepared to accept that which is the task of AOKP.
