Sorry our forums are down. Saki22 (banned from here and our forums) keeps ddos'ing our server. If a moderator catches this id appreciate it if you'd share his ip addresses. I'm going to report this idiot to his isp. All I have is the last address he used on our irc server. This is getting old... I'm sure he's tried to ddos ac's servers as well.

okay okay i got it running but now when someone sends me a picture message it comes from 9999999 and is all jumbled code and crap, any ideas on whats going on? i looked into it a little but all the fixes are for straight talk phones and want me to change the sms http reciver to the straight talk url. and then i just don't get anything.
Yeah, to the last two posts. This is all built for the Optimus Q... it will run on a slider, but these roms are for the Optimus Q. I'm currently working on a version for the Slider. You'll have to give me awhile though because I'm having to start fresh with a stock Slider Rom. Just give me some time... I was hoping to tweak the Q's build.prop, apnsconfig and the lib files to make it work for everyone, but was left with the same problem (no mms). Meaning I'll just have to start fresh. I believe it's an issue with CarrierIQ's implementation in the Q's rom (where VM has no CarrierIQ.). SO, again, I'm starting fresh and I'll have this out in a bit. It's just taking awhile. I apologize. I just don't own a VM Slider so this is something I can't beta test... All I can do is release my work and hope that it works for you all.

Sorry I've been away... I've had a lot of crap happen. Car accident, business venture, and several interviews I had to take care of. I'm going to try to finish v2.1 soon but it may be my last rom. As far as the slider version I'm going to pass my files off to rhg in hopes that he can finish it. :/
As far as adding a theme to it.... yeah of course. I themed the rom its possible to add a different theme to it.

Plz do. I have had this device for sometime now and it is nothing but heartache. I managed to root it using S1C v.1.2.2 as I found using the S1C v.2.2.3 caused it to freeze while trying to load .su. After rooting however any major tweek to the system causes the batt. to overheat. I desperately seek a decent ROM and one with hotspot unlocked is ++ I have reservations with doing too much to this device as it is my primary comm. So for now I just keep pimping my HTC. I look forward to any new developments.

jcole, I first wanted to say thanks for the outstanding work on the ROM. I love the red, so much more than the cyan. But, I had an idea...it seems that perhaps with some scripting or programming you could essentially create a diff file of pixel changes from changing one stock image to a color that you are using to theme a ROM. You could automate it from there to do any color change to 4000 images (as long as they were the same 4000 images) in a matter of minutes rather than days. You could have a thousand different color choices in no time at all. I'm sure there is more to the ROM development effort than just the images, but it sounds like that is a significant portion of your time. I am early on in my programming skills, but I might be willing to throw some time at it, especially if I can possibly use it for college credit with one of my professors. Thoughts? - sean
