Oh sorry.. you should download it to your phone, then use Root explorer and copy it to /system/app, then just reboot, it should show up in your app drawer. When you get to /system/app check the top right grey button you might have to click it to mount it as RW.

Thanks Def, for this work around. I see when i put it in the app folder it listed permissions as rw-rw-rw, the rest of the apps listed as rw-r-r. Should this be changed on the browser to match the other apps?

Also, can anyone comment on app restore working in this build? It has not worked for me on JB yet, this includes belly and beast. Did it work for anyone on the 7-14 build?

It worked for me on 7/12, not on 7/13, and I didn't try it for 7/14.

Also, for your Root Explorer thing, you can just toggle the permissions back after you paste it :).

Alright thanks, permissions fixed. Works awesome.

I really hope my app restore starts working again, if not ill have to drop 7 on tibu. Not having 1 click restore or app restore from google is killing me with all these flashes.

I personally was perplexed why it didn't work on 7/13...I came from an exceptionally clean install and expected it to work right out of the box. Let it sit next to my router (lol), came back in 20 minutes, and nothing downloaded.

Just flashed Bugless Beast after running Jelly Belly for the last week and a half. Lots of positive comments about BB around here so I figured that I would give it a whirl.

And just like that I'm rocking BB as my first JB rom. Huge thanks to Wug for making unlocking so easy, and to those of you who answered my questions (which actually played out the way I expected, but the extra security was still a big factor in moving ahead with it).

FWIW, Google's app restore started out working until it got through about 20 apps or so, then the Play Store FCed, and I was able to manually get another 30 or so to install because they were still had error notifications, but the others I had to install the old fashioned way. Luckily this was my first taste of JB, so the excitement overwhelmed any feelings of annoyance.

Jellybean is nice!

I just installed BB today and so far love it. No issues so far with the ROM.
One question I have since I am fairly new to ROMing is how do I get my contacts back. I made a Titanium backup and used WUG's to make a nandroid. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

7-13 is fine fer me.

When doing a dirty install, do I wipe cache before or after flashing the ROM?

(1) Thanks.

(2) I apparently have a few but the majority are not for whatever reason. I retrieved about 10 of 50. If I log on to Verizon I can see all of them but when I try to sync them to my phone all I get is a text with random numbers and symbols.
