[ROM][CM9][PORT]MIUI v4 2.8.3 [P506]

First I'd like to say I simply followed an online guide to porting MIUI and did a few tweaks here and there and I was shocked that it worked so easily. I'm uploading this for other people that own a LG Thrive (p506). I haven't tested with any other devices so be warned.
The rom is based on Arjen's Piccolo, and ported MIUI.us.

Very little effort was required for this port, I just thought other people might enjoy it so I'm uploading it here.

Remember to wipe everything before flashing rom. Afterwards you need to flash old-bb fix then reboot and flash 4-29 ics gapps.

Screenshots not necessary, look up any MIUI 2.8.3 screenshots.

What works: Everything that works with Piccolo I think.
What doesn't work: don't lower the brightness all the way because the screen will just turn off. Its an miui bug.

I've thought of trying my hand at rom cooking.
all the tuts are for windows using cygwin user's.
trying to find something for Ubuntu users.

I love your rom, but it won't let me install themes ): When I try applying them, it will install to like 2% and say Successfully Applied or whatever but the theme doesn't even change. Do you know to fix this?

Create a "theme" folder under data/system with a root explorer (es file explorer), so it should read data/system/theme.

ok, strange i too have a thrive, and i know rashed, he lives near me lol, so , and i trust him so i trusted this rom. it is quite good. but here is the big issue, no service. i guess i would need a funny sim fix, gona try that and post an update, but the .35 kernel kills the rom and does not let it boot up, it boots up fine on its own with no problem.

Yeah I built this from a p500 base so the baseband fix is required. You can find it in my how to cm7,cm9,cm10 thread.

Did rashed show you this? Just wondering why you said you trusted it because of him.
