Hey all. Newb here. I just flashed this. I am having trouble installing apps on this release. Didn't have any issue installing apps on Alpha 1. Anyone else experiencing this or know how to fix it?

I haven't tried Alpha 3 yet. I was going to but hearing some of the issues that popped up since Alpha 1, I decided to hold off.

Exactly, Alpha 3 is in many ways less usable than Alpha 1. The dev said they only released Alpha 3 to appease all the people screaming for an updated release, despite them not have a true working build ready for release. Basically they caved to the pressure of everyone wanting an update and released a broken (but still reasonably functional) build to shut people up. I dont think they will make that mistake again. Stick with Alpha 1 or wait until it hits Beta since I have my doubts there will be another Alpha release at all and Beta is likely still a ways off.

So Alpha 4 was released overnight. I am flashing right now!

Ok. So I reflashed alpha 1. Then I flashed alpha 3 and then alpha 4 without wiping. I must say, this mod is going to be amazing when it is done. Running spb mobile shell and the viper pad and loving it!

Huh. Proves me wrong lol. I'm honestly surprised they bothered. Sounds like some good progress is being made, the end result should be outstanding.

I assume you tried locating it in the Market?

I'm really not sure on this. GPS isn't working yet right? So what good would Google Navigation be in CM7 at this moment?

Actually GPS DOES surprisingly work for me. Idk how but it's only accurate to 30 meters. Anyway, I switched back to SRF . I will come back to this ROM when it has a couple of more bugs fixed.

Still in Alpha stage, Alpha 4 to be exact.

ahhh! cannot wait till this hits beta (or final). i just want gingerbread for one reason- that overscroll glow effect haha (either beta, final release, or sprint leaks us a copy of gingerbread, or actually releases it on time in late may like rumors say) I want to put gingerbread on my phone and bake ACE into it.
