So far I am loving this ROM. I've had it for some time now, and the only thing I dislike is that I can't use my Sprint Voicemail, and I get those annoying text messages. Is there any way to get around this? Thanks.

Sprint Voicemail works fine. Download the one in the EVO forum and flash it. You can block those 9016 messages if you use chomp or handcent.

Any ideas on where to get some of the Sprint apps? I liked the Sprint Football Live app.

That, and a replacement for the full month calendar widget from sense, and I'd be set. Any recommendations for that would be great.

What I meant was that the only notification of voicemail is those 9016 text messages, also there is no visual voicemail. Does the one in the EVO forum fix that?

I have a question -I downloaded this rom and love it. But I have a problem. I am switching the Hero with this rom, or I should say trying to, on Sprint. Customr Service cannot activate it. And obviously I can't take it in for service as she suggested. Does anyone have any hints on if this is possible, just change the phone rooted to another phone number?

If not, do I flash back to 2.1005? I have that ruu saved on my computer. Do I just follow the same directions and flash it on like I did this one?

Start with RC1 then. it is stable and nice.

Thanks. Took the plunge last night and re-installed all my favorite apps.. so far, I am loving 2.2! Very smooth and no FCs yet...

I have the 8/30 nightly and my phone would not work today, neither texting would go through, it kind of just died while everything else was working fine with no issues (internet, android market, etc)... anyway, any suggestions? I nandroid back to 2.1 IcedHoneybun and the phone works flawlessly since then.

I plan to download the most recent CM6 nightly and take it from there, unless someone has another suggestion.

Worked great.
Might have to leave it like that for hubby - he is coming from Nextel so the
world will be such a change, he might not be able to handle the fast,
manageable, fun to customize rom!!
And he wants NFL football . .

Well, he'll have huge phone lag and hate it in about a week...

I used Honeybun for a while, it was OC'd to 710 and faster, way faster than stock. You should leave something like that on the phone and it uses HTC Sense which is pretty cool...I wish CM6 had Sense, but that's just my personal opinion.

OK, I downloaded the 9/8 nightly and seems back to normal for now, no issues at this time since then.

What's up with the forums here, is everybody switching carriers or getting the EVO & the Epic? So sad, this is dying...
