I still had to dig up the key switch from the xionia thread, the sprint to ov zip didn't swap them for me

Sorry, I should label or number these. I just uploaded a new one that should be working. For future releases I'll add a date and time stamp.

If you edit the post just add a note about it.
I knew it had been updated, but I figured you accidentally deleted the comment.

Thanks for this tho.

Re: [ROM-ish] OV Port of ath3nos's Unofficial CM7 (Gingerbread)

This phone seems much snappier for me after putting aosps launcher2.apk in the rom flash instead of adw and getting rid of all the crap I usually use a root app remover to get rid of anyway. I'll have to start doing this for all the roms I use. :D The install went much faster for the rom also.

Only thing that didn't work, which was no big deal, was removing file manager and putting in root explorer.

yeah i felt as ADW was so slow for me. Maybe it's because my phone can only overclock to 729Mhz. Either way ADW was to laggy for me.

Re: [ROM-ish] OV Port of ath3nos's Unofficial CM7 (Gingerbread)

I just don't like ADW at all. I think that Go Launcher EX is superior in every way. Just irked right now that the go launcher notification app seems to have a glitch or something, keeps saying there is an error and needs to be reinstalled no matter how many times it gets reinstalled.

What method did you use to remove adw.

I used 7zip to open archive and then went into the system/app folder and deleted it. Then dragged the Launcher2.apk from AOSP into that same folder. When you flash the rom it gives you the stock launcher instead of adw. While in there I also delete out apks for other crap I don't use like email, gtalk, all live wallpaper stuff but picker. That kind of stuff I usually remove manually.

Yeah. ADW is my least favorite launcher. I personally go with Launcher 7. With all of my custom tiles, it looks fantastic.

So theoretically you could drag Go Launcher in there before flashing?

do you recommend data2ext? Is there other programs like it? I've also heard of link2sd. Which would your reccomend? What tutorial would you suggest for a noob?

+1 there. I'd hate to see it abandoned. This is a great rom, although not much different than aosp, I think it has it's advantages. I've been running it for a few days noe, and haven't noticed any slow down like aosp gets after a while. The working camera is great. I've only had a couple shut downs of the browser, but I think that's the browser's problem. So far I haven't found any bugs other than the touch screen "bug" that will not bother me. I douple tap to zoom, or sometimes use one hand to pinch, but never cross the axis lines.

i like link2sd more. you have the option to decide which apps to transfer to sd while data2ext you can't

Re: [ROM-ish] OV Port of ath3nos's Unofficial CM7 (Gingerbread)

After I installed it and did link2sd and loaded 68 apps I still had 134mb left on internal. Does it run kind of slow for anyone else? After I Oc it still lagged a bit. Web pages loaded a little slow, my keyboard really lagged and scrolling was on the slow side
