[ROM][KERNEL][09.28.11] GeeWiz 1.1.1 ED05 TouchWiz Debloated

Been running GB for about a week now and everything looks good. 1.1.1 i still prefer but after purchasing a new battery the 2.1 from DJ has the patch to support non-verizon batteries. so keeping this one until the next update.

OK, so I have a rooted DInc that I'm very familiar with, in terms of the rooting/flashing process, etc. My wife has a Fascinate that has given her problems with FC, etc. I wiped her phone clean but it still doesn't seem snappy, etc., so I told her I'd look into rooting it

It's WAY different than my DInc! But what I've gathered is that the GeeWhiz ROM would be great for her and that flashing through ODIN is easiest, versus using CWM, which is what I've used with my DInc.

So, am I thinking correctly? And if I use ODIN to flash the ROM, do I need to flash the PATCH with CWM? Do I need to install CWM at all?

ODIN this ROM and KERNEL will give a different recovery made by DJ him self. But i did ODIN the latest CWM since some modifications are not compatible with his recovery.

I ODINed GW and, to be honest, I couldn't tell if it flashed right away until I noticed the battery status change in the notification bar. So far, so good, and the fact that it didn't change my wife's homescreens or anything is awesome. Seems a little snappier, too.

Question though: if I wanted to install CWM, would I have to take it back to stock first, then reinstall the CWM image of GeeWiz?

I threw this ROM on my wife's phone, and none of her texts are going out. Is there a known SMS issue with this one?

No need to go back to stock you can just ODIN or flash CWM which version you want

I'll give that a shot. I set all of this up on my work computer and brought her phone in with me, and now I'm coming up on my weekend. I guess it's time to get this set up on the laptop to take home.
