Rom Manager Issues

Hi everyone, Yesterday I thought I would upgrade to the premium version of the clockworkmod rom manager mainly to support the developer. I don't know if that is the root of my issues or if there was another app in play here. Ever since, When I back up or restore a Rom, install a new ROM I have a black screen with a white line down each side instead of the data that would normally cross my screen. I have removed everything I installed previousley, I removed the Rom manager and reinstalled, still the same thing. It seems to be working but I have no idea what it is doing or how long it will take until it is done and the black screen dissapears and the phone reboots. I thought perhaps someone out there would know what the problem is here and how to fix it.

Thanks in advance..

If you just got the premium version of ROM manager then you most likely have the 3.0.0.7 Clockwork installed.

Here are 2 threads regarding this issue, the first regarding the bug, the second, how to downgrade manually.

Make sure you SD Card if formated as FAT32!!! This is the cause of most recovery problems.

Hope this helps.

In Rom manager - under Alternative Clockwork Versions there is also 3.0.0.8 that fixes the SLCD Issue as well.

Glad you got it working.

Thanks, I flashed the 3.0.0.8 and it is working fine. Its probably best to keep the mose recent version installed (as long as it works). Thanks again.
