[ROM] Quantum v2.7.0

I found it! I had the settings>locations & security>use wireless networks turned on. Turning it off does the trick. But I wish they had the setting in the camera app like on when I was stock.
Hope this will help someone else.

Good find Sneezy!!! That was driving me a bit crazy that there was no setting to turn off the GPS on the camera app itself...

I installed Quantum 2.7 yesterday, and it is running very well.

I have found that my phone will no longer connect to the SYNC Bluetooth in my car. On the phone it will see the SYNC, and ask for the pin. The SYNC will see the phone, and provides the pin. When the pin is entered into the phone the SYNC will detect the connection, and proceed to connect, but the phone will say pairing. The phone stays on pairing, and if the SYNC is selected on the phone it will once again ask for the pin. After a shutdown of the SYNC on the car it will look for the phone and then say no phone found. The phone will see the SYNC, and again asked for the pin. I have deleted the phone from the SYNC, and removed the SYNC from the phone, and tried again with the same results. If I reboot the phone it will then connect SOMETIMES. I renamed the phones Bluetooth ID, and it will return to stock (Epic 4G). I am at a loss, and any help will be appreciated.

I had similar problems. I'd recommend that you erase your cache with Clockwork Mod, and then DO NOT name your phone in the Bluetooth prefs. Just let it pick whatever it's little electronic brain desires. Delete the versions of the phone are in Sync. Then add it again. That worked for me.

One thing I have noticed with Quantum 2.7, is that when listening to music via Bluetooth Media in SYNC, I can use the song back/forth buttons on my steering wheel to change songs now. Not sure if that worked with Android 2.1 or Quantum 2.5, or if I just hadn't tried it, but is very cool! (I have a 2009 Ford Escape Hybrid).

Thanks, I will try that.

The song back/forth on the steering wheel worked on 2.1, and the stock 2.2 (DK28). They work on any media. The Forward even works in Pandora. I have a 2009 Fusion.
