The name of the rom is AC (AndroidCentral) rom.

Ahh, OK. I thought Candy was pretty creative too, LOL. It fit right in with the whole Google confection theme. I was waiting for the next versions to be different candies.

I can't seem to download the ROM. Is the link down? I can get to the 4Shared download page but when I click download file I get the obligitory page cannot be displayed error.

I just tried again and it seems to be working now. Can't wait to flash it!

I've been running this ROM since Saturday. OMG, my battery life is fantastic!! I really miss the AC ROM for it's system icons and all that...but the way my phone is using my battery now, I'm staying put with this ROM.

Does this rom have the patched email apk that removes the need for the Exchange security policy?

Im not sure, flash it and if it doesn't ill pull it from cyanogen for you

Do this from command prompt
adb remount
adb shell
cd /system/app/
rm HtcLockScreen.apk

Then reboot and you should have the aosp lock but remember don't use the stock alarm clock cause you won't have a way to shut off the stock alarm without stock lockbar.

igotsanevo4g, I flashed it and the email app does require the Exchange security policy lock. I tried patching it like I have in the past but it won't patch it correctly. Something in the new app is different. If you can pull the cyanogen mail app that would be great. If not I may try replacing it with the app from AC-Rom 2.8.

I dont see the other clock app like in previous versions of AC-ROM. Is it called something else?

Is anybody having a problem with swype keyboard not vibing with this rom? I have it set to vib on keypress but nothing the sounds works but not the vib.

I just checked and the vib is working for me on Swype.

I kept searching and goofing around with the new mail.apk from the new OTA and was able to get it patched to bypass the exchange policy for corporate email. If you want to test it and include it in the Rebith ROM let me know.

Is the search button intentionally disabled? I don't see any mention of that on page one, but mine is disabled for a short press Google search but works for a long press voice search. I know it's a pet peeve for some people so I decided to just let it ride for while, but I really miss the quick access to search. Is there any way to re-enable it?
