After 14 on CM7, I'm at 46%. For me, it has everything to do with wiping fully, installing apps from scratch unless I require data backup, battery calibration, then give it a week or two to level out... Seems to work best after that. I agree, however, reborn generally gets better battery life.

Lol yeah...I think 7 hours draining 60% is pretty bad...I try to get maybe 2 to 3 hours out of 10%...I get about the same battery life you do on CM7.

I can't figure out some people get great battery life.

I tend to be in low signal reception a fair bit of the time. Weather updates hourly. Facebook 4 hours. Exchange email on push. Calendar synced with exchange. Tried juice defender. What am I missing?

I've tried Juice Defender, battery calibration, gps off, bluetooth off, wifi on only when I'm using it, location settings, keep the cpu at 600 unless I need OC (it will run stable at 825), blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah blah and it all ultimately results in the same end result, no crazy 22 days of battery life still with 62% remaining.

The PhCollins battery tweak did nothing but jack up my phone....constant reboots, even after trying a full wipe/debug/flash etc etc.

If some guys are getting that then great, but it's just gonna happen on my phone. I've come to the conclusion that there are just some things that my device just won't handle well. I can get a solid 12-16 hours of battery life depending on use, mainly games I play. Some games will KILL your battery in a hurry.

Crazy long battery life is pointless anyway. Seriously, it's not that tough to plug a charger in before you go to bed.

For what this device is capable of, I'm damn happy with 12 hours.

Yea I agree reborn gets alittle better battery life but even with CM7 I get over 1 1/2 days.
First pic is with 56% left,

here you go :)

Apparently this zip is working with the current version of Reborn. Haven't tried it myself, I'm just getting that from other member's responses.

EDIT: Everything you said is correct. lol. symbolic link mumbo jumbo...

After going here from your link basketthis, it looks like you did not get it to work? I tryied that data2ext4-nodatadata.zip and also did the data2ext --enable, but the internal storage still only shows 140mb.
Now again I ask is there a working data2ext that works with reborn?

Do you have an ext partition on you SD?

I am looking for a working data2ext for reborn, I am currently on cm7 with 1gb of internal storage. So yes my sd card is partitioned to ext4.

Ok. I am on cm7 as well. Had to download data2ext twice though. May of been a bad download the first time. Haven't tried in reborn yet.

Do a little searching guys (took me 3 days to figure this out =p) but this is what you need to do...I have had it working before...now I'm on CM7, I think its more stable with ext...but it does work with picasticks you just have to use this http://forums.androidcentral.com/optimus-v-rooting-roms-hacks/79784-mod-modified-app2ext-nameless-rom-v1-harmonia-1-2-rodimus-picasticks.html
Thanks for this fine, I have been looking everywhere!! For a few weeks! I installed it and it does work!

OK here is my reborn with data2ext enabled. Check out internal storage in the pic.

Nice you got it to work...

Yes I did, thank you.
Besides the data2ext for cm7 which I use for that. I found 2 other ones, but none would work with reborn, until you gave me this one to try.

First off, let me say that just coming from Drew's CM7 I'm reeeeally enjoying the stock-like stability of Reborn. That was the first ROM I'd ever tried and it was awesome, but there were a few too many issues so I thought I'd try Reborn. It's sad to give up the flexibility of CM7, but I think it will be worth it. Great job Nick7!

That said there are a few things that are bothering me now having moved over...

Is there someway to get the display to turn on by pressing any of the front hardware buttons?

This was the behavior in CM7 and I really miss being able to just pick up the phone and mash what key my thumb happens to touch or just push one of the front buttons when the phone is on a table to check notifications really quick.

If this isn't an option then consider this a feature request for future versions of this ROM!

Thanks!
