Everytime I play something on youtube because I'm a heavy youtuber it frezzes and restarts the phone and I know it's the tom because I tried it on my gf's phone and we both have the same phone and her's isn't rooted and I know the basically the rules of rooting I just wanted to know if it's fixable

It probabbly has to do with how your phone is overclocked or underclocked. I would try overclocking it a little higher to give you more 'ram'

Be careful when doing the overclocking. Especially when going higher. It's usually recommended to go lower first to around 600... Also, don't forget to check my FAQ, post 2, question/answer 2. That process has proven to help many others. Also, don't restore apps from Titanium (if you are), just download them from the Market fresh.

Lego's themes are built for a different framework, flashing them will break several things in reborn, including but not limited to the power control toggles.

Having said that I think Nick7 posted a walk through somewhere on how to port a theme, if you are really motivated you could use those instructions to make one work.

I'm having trouble with really slow boot times...about 3 minutes until I'm able to dial.

I need one phone setup that has a very quick boot. I never timed it but the stock OS seemed to boot very quickly.

How quick can Reborn boot? What things can I do to tweak the boot time?

Here you go. I fixed this one up to work with Reborn, Shell, sROM, and CleanROM.

(It includes the power controls in the drop down screen on all Roms -- credit goes to Nick7 for getting this mod to work on our phones)

1. These are tweaks to the build properties that provide certain benefits and losses. JIT should be left on, HW acceleration should be left on if you play games, and stagefright should only be turned on if you are getting encoding errors (actually I think it causes more encoding errors than it fixes).

2. Smartass governor is a re-written interactive governor with profiles (sleep scale down, charging scale up, etc). It is already fully optimized for our phones and will operate correctly after flashing the rom.

I tried to install the Sprint Football app, installs fine but says app is for nextel & sprint devices only....
Do I need sprint id, running latest reborn rom.

There is a modifed data2ext floating around that works with picasticks... It has to load the ext modules, the modules are there just not loaded upon boot.

Wow. Just flashed back to Reborn and my battery drain is much less than cm7. Lost 20% on reborn in 3.5 hrs. CM7 would have lost 40%.

Same thing here, so far. First tried Drew's CM7 (which I think it great), both with and without the battery tweak. Then tried Reborn, and although I haven't quantified it, it does seem the battery life is noticeably improved, relative to both CM7 and stock.

Inoticed this too, any ideas why this is. I mean it's pretty inconvenient. Oh well both ones have their pluses both roms have their minuses

For even better battery life, run shell Rom with one of our themes and still have the Power Control Toggles.

After 14 on CM7, I'm at 46%. For me, it has everything to do with wiping fully, installing apps from scratch unless I require data backup, battery calibration, then give it a week or two to level out... Seems to work best after that. I agree, however, reborn generally gets better battery life.

Thanks alot Nick!BTW Great Rom. I was using all the different CM7 Roms, but reception was not good at all! So I thought i would try Reborn! And the reception is alot better, and also have the roaming app!!!! Very stable fast and customizable! Ill stick with Reborn
