To clear something up. You can not make a "widget" for the roam control but you can put the the app on the launcher for easy access. That way you don't always have to go into the app drawer.

You should be able to make a shortcut as well using Desktop Visualizer so you can access via your home screens... unless I'm misunderstanding what you are saying... if that is the case, just ignore!
Well thats what I'm doing now it would just be easier to push on and off..

Swype 3.0 Beta
Has anyone tried the Swype 3 beta on Reborn 2.1? The Swype website says don't install this beta if Swype is pre-installed on your phone - does that count for Reborn? Thanks!

I did. Use Titanium backup to uninstall your original Swype App (and installer if you have it...i didn't). Then download the 3.0 file from the site. No issues so far.

is this rom dead? havent seen any updates also seems like nobody is working on any roms for this phone....not that im not thankful for the wonderful work they do

Can't because of licensing issues. If you want the new swype you need to sign up to be a beta tester.
I tried uninstalling VVM last night with Titanium Backup. Let's just say, my phone did not like it! It was in a constant Force Close loop until I powered my phone down and reflashed the ROM (and, no I did not have a backup as I had just wiped my phone for a fresh install). Been too scared to try to uninstall anything else using Titanium Backup.
Yeah, pretty much what I figured, I'm not concerned really.
Entirely off topic: How'd finals go? Well I hope.

I say this in all seriousness, but this ROM really is a work of art.
I think that based on all of the feedback everyone has given, there is enough for a very good RebornROM v. 2. 2 (Final)...until Gingerbread is released.
The dedication that you and your team gave in producing a quality ROM is outstanding and really shows. Hopefully if there are any changes made, such as to the Music Player, SMS/MMS app, Camera App, Video Player app, Camcorder app and etc...it would be such that there would be no need to change them. For example, I use "Double Twist " because I get audio controls even when the screen is locked. Maybe add a WiFi Network Browser like 'File Expert ', a simple FTP Server app, an SSH Client like (ConnectBot) and etc.

Which rom are you running? Just curious because Reborn does not come with sprint's VVM.

Oh Lord...I was tired last night...I was trying to uninstall the dialer. hahahahahahaahahahaha

EDIT: Also, is it safe to uninstall Swype and the HTC keyboard via Titanium? I just like the stock FroYo keyboard, so I pulled that .apk from the old ThundeROM thread. :-/
