Did u change the sleep time? How long it takes til it locks the screen?? You have to do that even on stock

If using VVM for voicemail try doing this if it is installed but you are not getting notifications.
1. Dial *38 from Dialer to disabled call forward. It will take 2 seconds.
2. Power off phone take out battery, then reinstall battery, turn on.
3. Update user profile: menu, settings, about phone.
4. In VVM compose a message make sure its aleast 15 seconds long. Send it to activate@VVM.sprint.com

You will get your recorded message sent back to you. It may take a few minutes for you to receive it back.
This comes from the help section in VVM.

Hey Nick7... You are my new god, thanks to your ROM and tricks; I was able to UNBRICK my PERMA-BRICKED phone. I couldn't get into recovery or nothing, so I booted up my phone and I kept hearing the Sprint sound and what not but no video. I thought my phone was shot, but then I was able to Root my phone using gingerbreak and I used the ADB commands and I was trying to get into root, thankfully I was able to get into root and it asked me to verify it using SuperUser and I knew where it would pop up all the time and I installed the Xionia Custom Recovery ROM and ka-blam I was able to install Reborn ROM v2.2.2. THANK YOU SO MUCH NICK7!!! I WILL DONATE TO YOU WHEN I GET THE CHANCE, THANK YOU AGAIN SIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

think i got it fixed. i did backup to when i first flashed the rom then did a costom back up of my data i had now. but if it locks up again ill try what you said to do. also is there any way to have other keys but the power key to wake up the phone?

it doesn't sound like u were bricked. It sounds like u were on v9 and your display driver wasn't working bc it's not compatible to v9 but glad u got it working anyway.

Hey guys quick question about apps and .apks...

If I manually copy/paste an app in .apk format onto my SD Card...I know that I can use a file explorer like 'Astro' for example, then navigate to it's location and install.

However...when it does install that app...does it keep it in .apk format or if I download an app from the marketplace and it installs the app...is that installed app still in .apk format?

I ask because...I'm trying to locate where all of my apps are physically located on my RebornROM phone...and so far all I see are tons of .asec files.

Just curious.

About once or twice a day, My phone puts itself into airplane mode. I think it happens after I quick turn the screen on to check the time or status, then turn the screen back off.

The other strange thing is, I drag the dolphin hd icon over the stock browser icon at the bottom no problem. But a couple hours latter it reverts back to the stock icon and browser.

Any ideas?

Both of your issues usually only happen on reboot. Is your phone randomly rebooting?

Move your browser app from your sd card to your phone . That will keep it on the launcher dock

followed the instructions for vvm and it
still won't work. I dialed *38 and I get a
error message something like, the code
you have dialed is not valid....blah blah
blah. Could it be that I have this phone
running on boostmobile and no longer
on Sprint? Thanks

The packaged voicemail is sprints voicemail. Try google voice, but it needs data. Ask boost, I don't think he supports anything but sprint with this rom

Yea if ur not on sprint then u need to ask them for the codes. Or if they have something blocked on their end. Google voice works awesome and it configs ur provider settings. I think u tried this already but it may be your only option

Your system apps are in the system/app folder. All others are in the data/app folder....Use es explorer its free and will do what you need......

OK thanks guys. I do have data but there's another issue there, 1x data works just fine but I get terrible 3g data. Half the time 3g don't even work. It comes in and out but like I said 1x works all the time. So I'm assuming that's an issue with switching this phone to boost also? Is there something I can do to get 3g working? What about that prl swapping option that they have posted on here? Would that work? And yeah that's correct that Google voice does not work for me as well. So what are my options guys? Thanks

The 3g issue is very common if you are running on an older baseband: since you have already flashed the rom the method listed in the op to check it won't work. But you could try updating the baseband using the link in the OP. I'm not sure how this will effect being that you are on boost but you could give it a try.
