yea i wiped all data wipe the cache and the dalvik cache. i restored my backup and tried it all over again and its doing the same thing

Ya, they can't both be used at the same time. Even on v2.0. But let me ask ShortyJacobs if he minds me combining my noIQ-reborn-bat-mod zip with his Power-Mod bright buttons zip.

Thanks for sharing those, I rooted my wifes phone yesterday and installed Reborn but noticed it didn't have the noIQagent patch anymore.

What exactly does that tweak do?

I had it installed with Noname V1 on mine.

I assume you are talking about visuall voice mail. I posted about it a few pages back. I am also trying to troubleshoot a possible bug involving it with my current configuration.

I previously used Xionia recovery to create a second partition on my sdcard. The partition is ext3. Previously while running Lego ROM, I was able to run Link2SD which mounts it at boot time as /data/sdext2 and moves selected app, app cache and lib files to it. After switching to Reborn ROM v2, Link2SD can no longer mount the partition nor can I mount it manually in Terminal Emulator or using adb shell. I know Picastick's v7 kernel has support for ext2, ext3, and ext4, so this is basically a question for Nick7 if he knows of what difference between Lego and Reborn that might be the cause?

Further details: Link2SD mounts the script at boot with the same script in two places: /system/etc/install-recovery.sh and /system/etc/init.d/11link2sd. It was probably the init.d version that executed under Lego. The script contains the following:

I just upgraded from Nameless to Reborn 2.1. I cleared data/cache and restored everything with Titanium. The only problem I have is that I am unable to change the wallpaper. No matter which route I take to set it it always stays the same. If anyone has any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks.

Edit: Never mind. It seems to have sorted itself out. By the way, thanks guys for all the work you put into these ROMs. v2.1 seems pretty damn good.

Anybody else getting FC when they edit or add a contact? When I press the done button I get 'android.process.acore" has stopped unexpectedly. When I press FC it takes me back to my contacts list and the change I made is there. Strange?

Edit: I did the dirty flash which corrected the problem. Then I manually reinstalled Voice Dialer with Root Explorer and the problem is back. I like using Voice Dialer so I'm just going to live with the problem for now.

I had android.process.acore FC on me as well, I reflashed and it was fine.

If you can't get good battery life try stock. If stock doesn't give you good battery life then go buy a spare battery. They aren't expensive.

Beware, if you clear data and flash your phone will have silent selected for a ringtone. I'm uploading a fix for this now.

The one downfall to the optimus S is that in weak signal area battery life stinks. Otherwise the battery life of this phone is pretty amazing.

Is this an area where you've used your phone in a simlar manner in the past, and if so, has battery life changed? i.e. is the ROM the only thing that has changed or is this a new situation you are trying your phone in (streaming music in a poor cell reception area)?

I am also getting FC in the contacts as well. I am only rooted and on stock rom so I don't think the reborn rom is your problem. This just started this morning.

Always bad signal in my office. I usually keep it on the charger all day long at the desk. O

Seems like I get similar battery performance on Reborn v2 compared to stock VD. But, that's with sparing use of background data, wifi, gps, airplane mode nights, etc.

Edit: ***That's with the processor rolled back to 600 instead of the 748.
