Unless I'm misunderstanding the settings you want are already applied according to that, also at a first glance that looks like a duplicate of the wake buttons flash nick posted.

key 158 BACK WAKE_DROPPED
key 230 HOME WAKE

key 229 MENU WAKE_DROPPED
key 59 MENU WAKE_DROPPED
key 139 MENU WAKE_DROPPED

key 102 HOME WAKE

key 115 VOLUME_UP WAKE
key 114 VOLUME_DOWN WAKE

key 116 POWER WAKE

Those are the keys in question but they appear to be setup the way I would expect, as for which menu and which home entries are which I'm not entirely certain lol

So I have to ask. Your saying that if you press power to turn the screen off, and then press vol up. It wakes the screen?

Is there a way of changing the dock apps? I want to replace the default browser and messanger

Edit: Amazing ROM btw! cheers!

Yeah, thats what is happening, the same thing with the camera(even just a half press for focus), and the other side button.

Seems like I might be SOL huh... :(

You could try changing the WAKE_DROPPED to WAKE or remove it entirely for different keys, might have to fiddle a bit to get exactly what settings you are looking for

EDIT: or of course you could change WAKE to WAKE_DROPPED, but again probably have to fiddle with it

ack... the problem is the No Lock app... I disabled it and the keys work normally... Is there a no lock alternative?

LOL, could use the no lock function in the power control toggles.

Earlier in this thread.

The no lock function from there might work to do what you are talking about.

Everytime I try to change the file it does not stick, I assume this is because it is in use, but I cant figure out how to get it out of use...
or does the notepad app just not work right?

I previously used Xionia recovery to create a second partition on my sdcard. The partition is ext3. Previously while running Lego ROM, I was able to run Link2SD which mounts it at boot time as /data/sdext2 and moves selected app, app cache and lib files to it. After switching to Reborn ROM v2, Link2SD can no longer mount the partition nor can I mount it manually in Terminal Emulator or using adb shell. I know Picastick's v7 kernel has support for ext2, ext3, and ext4, so this is basically a question for Nick7 if he knows of what difference between Lego and Reborn that might be the cause?

Further details: Link2SD mounts the script at boot with the same script in two places: /system/etc/install-recovery.sh and /system/etc/init.d/11link2sd. It was probably the init.d version that executed under Lego. The script contains the following:

#!/system/bin/sh
#added by link2sd
sleep 2
mount -t ext3 /dev/block/vold/179:2 /data/sdext2
mount -t ext3 /dev/block/mmcblk0p2 /data/sdext2

Nick7 or anyone have any suggestions? Sorry to basically post this again, but I was afraid it got lost in the rapid growth of the thread.

I found the notepad app didn't work correctly for me either. I used root explorer's built in editor to change mine (at least in v1, haven't had a chance yet for 2.1)

As much as love Reborn v2.1 for me it was just using battery too quickly. Did a nand back to Nameless.

Thanks to all those that keep on crankin' the new ROMs out.

Ok, So I just flashed this ROM and I'm stuck at the " Touch the android to begin." screen, everytime I tap the android he disappears for a brief second and then reappears, as if something wasn't starting up.

I've rebooted the phone multiple times to no avail.

I'm using the Xionia Custom recovery and a stock kernel.

do you have adb setup?

adb logcat it and see what you see...
