agreed, this is the best keyboard of the gingerbreads out there. i read somewhere that more dev's are using it in their roms now too.

I found that i was missing a lot of phone numbers after switching to gummy, it turns out they were stuck in verizons backup assistant service. Here is a guide on how to export to gmail if anyone else wants help like i did.

I've been holding off on trying a custom ROM forever, but finally bit the bullet and installed GummyJAR on my Droid X. All I can say is: WOW! I wanted something closer to the stock Android I had on my OG Droid, and this definitely gets me in that direction. Goodbye Blur!

I loaded gummy 2.5 and the watermark theme.. WOW this is very nice..
GJ 2.1 wasn't enough to pull me away from apex 1.3.1, but this new setup may just be what i roll with for a while.. i really like it so far

I am about ready to install this ROM! This will be my first and in the install instructions there is a statement about not installing custom themes or a boot loop will happen. Does that me that the themes that I D/L for ADW will no longer work?

No but you can install it over 2.1

Loving this ROM! Except....

I can't play music or videos. No Slacker, Pandora, or stock apps. I just get "this item cannot be played" type errors. Slacker and Pandora just show an error code and close.

Any ideas?

Does anyone else's Gummy have the thing where the PC seems to connect/disconnect repeatedly in rapid succession when connected to usb in Charge Only Mode?

I do have this issue too.

Edit: I should add this is my first ROM and I LOVE it. I may be in the minority, I don't like they keyboard or the phone keypad but those are pretty small annoyances.....overall it kills the blur, crap that comes stock...

Can someone post the dandelion wallpaper image that comes with GummyJAR 2.5? I like it, but I want to change wallpapers and I want to make sure I have a copy of it to use again later if I want. I don't know where it is on the phone.

Should be in framework / framework-res / res / drawable hdpi folder as default wallpaper.

Thank you! I looked in a different drawable folder and was confused because the default wallpaper in it was totally different.
