[ROM] RvU 1.3.2 WORKING 4G!!! Sync Fixed / ROM Manager Support

ok my 4G is not working it connects gets a ip address I have the 3 bars of signal for the 4G icon but there is no traffic.


I already had the new radio installed so all I did was wipe data and installed the new 1.2 rom. everything works except for 4G.


I went back and installed the radio again and still no luck with 4G. any help will be gladly appreciated

Have you tried running this command and see if it fixes it?

iptables -t nat -A POSTROUTING -o rmnet0 -j MASQUERADE

there is a recovery screen u need to run it through a Command window. there is a file called evo recovery.zip that u need.

I have that and I am trying to install it but when I run the .bat file it fails.

are u directing the command where the files are located. for example I placed the .bat file and folder called files into my android- sdk folder under tools.

than u run the command:
*CD android/tools( this is where my android sdk tools are located yours will be diffrent).

*adb remount

*adb reboot recovery

than double click the .bat file.

I just tried it and still nothing. are u suppose to get a response back once you run that command?

Yeah I was doing all that, I think I found the issue, I'm going to give it a few more tries and get back to you.


Edit: I was able to flash the rom but then I got stuck in a bootloop, I pulled the battery and powered it back on and it happened again. Wiped and am reflashing now...

yeah every time u flash a rom always wipe everything before u install the new rom.

Just flashed this. Glad someone cranked out a rom based on the update, I had a lot of problems with the SD card on Flipz rom.

Will report back but so far so good. Also, kudos for including Titanium Backup, that's always the first thing I install so you saved me a step.

Are you getting 4G data after flashing the new Radio? I am not, however, at least 3 users have reported to me that they have when they haven't before.

This is baffling... and the more I investigate, I think it comes down to build numbers on hardware. That isn't good. At all.

does anyone else seem to be noticing google maps working really slow after using this rom? I'm not sure what causes it but it happens with 3g or under wifi. The map updates VERY slow after moving it around to a different spot. Im running this rom with the new radio update. I used toast's root method. if anyone else is noticing this i'd love to hear it it's frustrating

I live in Philadelphia we have 4G coverage here and I still cannot make it to work. My wife has a Evo also hers is not rooted and her 4G is working great. SO it has to do with the root process.

Yep, in Philly too. I don't always get a lock on 4G... gotta take a walk and even then that doesn't work for me.

Alright. Personally, 4G kills the battery like a champ. Seriously, drained about 10% walking around the block trying to get a lock.

I am going to trying something for giggles, but I am doubtful over this.

Hey new Droid user here...So I rooted my phone and ran this update via "Flash zip file sd card" option and everything seems great. Only problem I have now is I can't run Titanium or any apps require Root. Basically when I run Titanium Backup it pops up this window SU Request and it just hung. About 20 secs later, the Force Close window came up and I have to kill it. Any ideas?

I need to know what version of the Kernel you are running and what version of the Kernel she is running.

My kernel version says: 2.6.29-a2443432 htc-kernel@and18-2#1 my wife has the same kernel on her un rooted EVO.


The only thing that does not match is the PRL version

I had the same issue with the SU access all I did was rebooted my phone and now is working fine. Also did u wipe your data before installing the new ROM?

Nvm, I found the answer to my question in this thread. Sorry. Basically I didn't have USB Debugging Enable, and enabled that everything works great.

I'm having the same problem with this Rom as I do with the stock one. It has a 100% wake issue. If I boot the phone and then nuke everything with Advanced Task Manager, then it behaves.

I'm also having problems with the camera not wanting to start after rebooting. Logcat says it can't connect to the camera service. Oddly enough, if I nuke all running apps, the problem goes away and the camera works.

Did you wipe? No one has reported 100% wake time.

Sounds like defective hardware, maybe you should use the RUU, and go back to stock?
