[ROM] RvU 1.3.2 WORKING 4G!!! Sync Fixed / ROM Manager Support

i have a question about removing apps (im new to this whole android business) when i try to remove apps following the instructions in the link in the first post. i get the the sh stage and when i try to do the mount it just gives me the instructions on the mounting. might i ask what i am doing wrong or at least point me in the right direction.

EDIT: Never mind i didn't know you had to be in recovery for it to work.

I rooted, with the XDA root, then I did their recovery thing, and did a NAND back up, then I did a delvic-cache wipe. then powered it off and then powered on then sent it back into recovery mode, then told it to flash the RvU1.3.1. Any help would be awesome, I know it is late.

sounds like you just need to re-wipe EVERYTHING. no experience with the Evo yet, but that was always the problem with the Hero.

As of right now... everything is working like stock. Until someone finds something we broke

Seriously tho, I tested this ROM out fairly well. Been running it, and never had an issue with stock functions not working right except the 4G, which is now fixed.

BTW, I won't really ever use 4G even though I am in Philly. Why? It's a battery slayer... and not that much more quicker IMO.

Yeah when you rebooted that defeated the purpose.Wipe,flash,then reboot.

Okay, i finally figured out how to use Titanium. Man, simple once you understand it. I am having no issues so far.

One really important note. I tried to restore my [DESKTOP] HTC Sense 1.0 thinking this would give me my saved scenes back. DON'T DO THIS. You get a never ending force close. Ya'll probably already knew this, but the N00B here didn't. I had to do a second Hard Reset.

Now about this awesome Custom Rom. It is working like a champ, no issues. I have 4G working with no problems. My Wi-Fi is better than before, still shows the bars dropping, but the speed tests come back right at the same. 10m down, with 2.75m up. If there is any other feed back you would like to know please ask. Will do my best to start testing this thing for ya'll more. Again, Thanks to all that are involved.

I believe they fixed 4g and some other kinks. They also moved the apps back so you can remove bloatware with a file manager.

So far so good..I didnt find titanium loaded anywhere which was weird but i just installed it off the market.

I had to do the same thing as MrDSL. No biggie though.

One thing I am noticing though is the Sync Icon keeps getting stuck in the status bar. So far have only noticed this when i bring it out of sleep. I go into accounts and sync, and see if anything is syncing, once contacts was, 2nd time nothing. so i tell it to cancel all syncs and then click the sync all now. done in a couple secs. Just letting you know. This Rom is awesome thanks.

Any performance difference versus the stock ROM? Just curious as I've noticed a fair amount of lag on the EVO (stock ROM) compared to my Hero (running Fresh ROM 2.1.1) when switching between home screens and using the app launcher.
